Congrats, Travin Dural! Time to carve out a niche for yourself in the NO like Devery or Colston

Saints only have three wide receivers on the roster who are legit NFL guys

Guess it depends on how you qualify legit, but I count at least 4. Thomas, Snead, Coleman, and Ginn. You could make a case against Coleman but on the flip side you could probably make a case for Tommylee Lewis being legit and maybe even Rashad Lawrence or Corey Fuller. That being said, I do think that Dural is likely to get a roster spot if he plays to his potential.

How's that exactly?

Not flashy like the slew of top notch wrs LSU has put in the league. Made some big plays at LSU, won't be the #1 target for drew, but could be a deep threat, like devery and I guess like they had used meachum at the beginning.

He'll outjump and outwork Cooks. He certainly has a legit shot. His position is a NEED.

Dural posted a 4.58 40 time. Devery's not an apt comparison.

Unless the Patriots are the Saints, that won't help him much

Shouldn't be hard to jump Cooks on a saints roster this year

If he wants to succeed in the NFL, he's better off with a year or two of Drew Brees throwing him the ball combined with the receiving corps they have than he would be with Ryan friggin Tannehill and sitting behind Jarvis Landry in the depth chart.

Coleman will probably make the team too, but I agree. He's going to make it and it is a great fit

I really hope you're wrong about tbat. Coleman has had plenty of chances to show what he's got and he's shown he's a marginal NFL WR at best.

saints did a horrible job in the 2017 nfl draft :( but cleaveland browns killed it in the draft. browns just need a complete over haul of coaches. and some the players too. but i think atl will be able to get back where they were if saints dont buckle down and get to it. seems like saints are just settling back to old ways as cant get to playoffs

Yeah totally. Breesus is going to ruin his career by throwing too many TDs/yards/completions and inflating his stats.

They went too heavy D. ATL has plenty young next-superstars. They needed a big time RB, some OL and WRs

Drafted the #1 CB and top 5 overall prospect at 11

Drafted the consensus #1/2 OT at 32

I don't think he will make it. I used to think he was a burner until he ran his 40. He wasn't known as a possession receiver or being tough over the middle. CFL maybe.
