I'm not sure this supports your point at all of O being a good coach.

But please, continue....

You honostly don’t remember the starters that were suspended for undisclosed reasons. Not injuries. You goof. They all magically came back for the Auburn game.....and LSU won. Imagine that. After getting manhandles at Troy, we were hanging in their with a defense that stopped Bama! And we actually beat that team.....do you think all of a sudden Coach O was able to coach up the players then.....no man....those starters were bigger and stronger.... Our freshmen were weaker and didn’t know what they were doing....because they were young and inexperienced

You know we were missing more OL for the Auburn game than the Auburn game.

Both tackles were out vs Auburn.

Players don't pan out for every school in the country. recruiting classes are based on what they did in high school, not what happens after. None of the players you listed would have left if LSU really wanted to keep them...except probably the ones who left due to a coaching change, but again that happens all the time

Right, their ADs said if you can't beat THIS guy, you don't need to be working here.

So you’re saying the 2007 Alabama team was more talented than LSU 2017.

And your basing this on what?

Prior record (nope)
The record that year? (Nope)
Re rioting rankings of the classes making up the team? (Nope)
Your need to justify your arguement? (It’s this one)

Exactly. Three of them got canned within like 48 hours of the game ending. Losing to Ed O is essentially the same as getting a “vote of confidence” from your AD ——— it means your toast.

totally get your logic....what’s is good for one coach cannot be used on coach O....because his voice is gravelly....

saban had already proven to be a great program builder while has proven to be a failure as HC. the 2017 season was the best season of his entire HC career

the signature win of his 33 year career is beating a 4 loss auburn team at home.

u know....he can’t coach because it’s embarrassing when people say he sounds like Cookie Monster...the

cant coach because that all the facts we have to go on.

Completely agree. I guarantee they weren't fired because Orgeron made them quit.

Maybe I misunderstood you, but I thought you were saying dont give kudos to Orgeron and his staff when they accumulated yards and points against inferior opponents,...because after all, they were inferior opponents. My point is, they did what they were supposed to do against those inferior opponents...in record fashion.

Rickdaddy, I'm too lazy to look this stuff up....but are you talking about recruiting years (2014-2016) or actual seasons?

I wouldnt go so far as to put down the previous recruiting classes but this years "mediocre" class is pretty darn solid also. I hate that we missed on cornerbacks, but we should be fine.

A top 15 class is by definition a good class. There’s 130 schools.

But LSU’s classes were consistently top 10 and more often than not top 5.

Yes LSU has had players that didn’t pan out (Clifton garret, anyone?) but to act like LSU was some sort of barren wasteland devoid of talent is being completely disingenuous
