2016-present: Miles classes overrated, roster in shambles, holes everywhere. We’re young. 8-4 would be great.

We get it, you’re happy with 9-4, 10-3 as long as O is coach.

I’m sure even 8-5, 7-6 wouldn’t change your mind either.

Uh, no. He wasnt “hired” as interim HC.

He was SELECTED to be interim because he was an assistant already on the staff that had previous HC experience.

Big difference there DeREEk.

It wasn’t his coaching ability

yeah im sure O having the worst tenure ever at a program full of shite tenures never crossed their minds.

the only time O was allowed to make long term decisions at a program it culminated into the worst tenure ever but yeah im sure that never crissed their minds.

You can’t count that as a coaching failure
they didn’t hire him because he wasn’t qualified for the position.

If it gets you the head coaching gig at LSU it is. Better than being a freaking coordinator.

He failed at ole miss because he was dealt a cupboard even less bare then Miles

It took him 3 years to rebuild the team....just in time for the flashy new coach to shine with talented recruits

even he said he was terrible at ole miss you can admit it. Plus good coaches can build from the ground up. I guess o couldn’t do that

there were other coaches on staff and some coaches who weren't working who would have loved the chance to take over programs like USC and LSU.

So yes he was hired by two P-5 programs as IHC.

3 of the 4 coordinators at those schools were 4 games into their tenures at the school. the 4th was going to be fired at the end of the year or O could fire him then

In the Miles years.....10 games were fluff.....then miles hit the meat of the sec.....

I watched it happen every year....and the year after that....and the year after that

How many sec games did O lose last year?

Dude...

Have you ever seen an outside coach not working on a team get selected to be IHC?

He was just the only person with HC experience on either staff.

miles went to a far worse situation at Oklahoma State and had them winning 7,8,9 games. they went from 60th ranked classes to multiple top 25 classes.

from 1998-2001 Oklahoma State only had 1 seasons where they were even able to achieve a .500 record and they were coming off sanctions yet the coach youre bashing made them respectable.

from 1997- 2005 ole miss only had 1 losing season and the coach youre touting msde them the laughing stock of the conf

Why is it somehow better to go 6-2 in conference when you lost 2 OOC games?

O was 2-4 vs teams over .500. How is that for failin when you hit the meat of a schedule.
