obviously, arse. i meant when you have a month to prepare for the bowl game and youre still unprepared, thats BAD coaching. example: if we couldnt stop GTs option, that would have been bad coaching and preparation. we did stop it - therefore good coaching and preparation

and yeah i can agree with this. i wouldnt be opposed to a new OC because it seems that our offensive playcalling is very subpar. we have the talent to be a great offensive team. im not sure who does the playcalling on offensive but i agree it needs to change. bottom line LSU is still a top 10 (easily), and arguably top 5 program in the nation still with these small problems. Recently it seems LSU just expects excellence so when things go bad we get pissed. Understandable but we should look at the big picture. all in all we're in very good shape

I agree, it's not Jefferson's fault that an undersized center and two underweight guards are in front of him every play. I think the best talent on this team is young and next year could be much better.

im glad we can agree on this. as long as miles keeps reeling in the recruits as he has been doing we'll be good.

LSU needs to learn to run a spread offense with a QB that can throw and be allowed to throw. The last decent throwing QB was Flynn. Look at TX, Ok, Fla. They all have QBs that throw and throw deep, not screens all the time.

Every team we play knows we are not a threat down field, therefore, all they have to do is shut down the run and game over.

when the SEC divided into two divisions, each team had the choice of an annual out of division rival to play each and every year. LSU and Florida chose each other. So it isn't being imposed by the SEC front office that we play Florida; it was an LSU and UF choice that we play.

I don't know if this is true, but the point remains that Saban and Bama have benefited from not playing UF the past two years. And if Miles was helped by UF and Bama being mediocre a few years ago, Saban was helped in the same way.

I don't disagree, but QB development doesn't happen overnight. If Jefferson had 2008's O line playing in front of him he would have had it a bit easier this season, it's not like LSU couldn't run the ball last year. I just hope Garrett is good and LSU has two dependable QB's next year.

completely and totally false

we were assigned UF, Bama was assigned UT (rivalry), AU was assigned UGA (rivalry), Ole Miss was assigned Vandy (geogrpahic rivalry), MSU got UK (two shitty teams) and Arky was assigned USC (two newest teams)

sort of like God in Cleats Tim Tebow and Urban Meyer getting their asses handed to them by Lloyd Carr and Michigan? people forget stuff like that because it doesn't fit their argument

I think Bama and Tenn insisted on playing yearly.

It has been my observation that when LSU enters a "no-huddle" type offense is when JJ has looked his best. Even the "great" Danielson noted it during the Georgia (?) game. To say he cannot is biased.

this...

anyone who thinks LSU chose FLA to be on our schedule every year....
IMO this is one of the things that needs to change. I'd rather do a three team home and home rotation, that way any student athelete that stays 4 years would have the chance to play at every SEC venue.. but as long as you have the BAMA vs TENN rivalry and the GA vs AU rivalry it'll never happen....

It takes more than 8 starts to develop a QB...but you're right, it's all Miles' fault.

As they should have given the schools' football histories, I believe UGA/AU is one of the longest running series in college ball. So does on choose UK or UF as a permanent opponent?

Personally, I think the East opponents should be rotated every two years and not have a permanent to level the playing field.

It all boils down to disclipine. Our team and coach doesnt have it.

Thats why Saban can make a bunch of 3 and 4 stars play like 5 stars and why Mile has a bunch of 4 and 5 stars that play like 3 stars.

What will you say if LSU drops the next two games against Ole Miss and Arkansas and LSU should have lost against Miss State and Georgia and was outplayed the whole game against La. Tech. If LSU plays anything like against La. Tech and Florida Ole Miss will set SEC rushing records against LSU.
