JL will evlove from one of the most hated to most loved.
Book it.
Write it down.
Take a fricking picture.
We get that you have an obsession with Lee.
This used to be kind of sweet.
It is beginning to get creepy, though

Jamie Howard ...was funny when Richard Codon called him a pussy and would beat his arse...Jamie goes to radio station and Condon wouldn't come outside
Condon challenged people all the time, and he never showed.

This.
That Howard (and Hallman) were that hated had a lot to do with why Condon thought it was cool and funny to threaten to kick Howard's arse. He knew most of Baton Rouge probably wanted to join him in kicking Howard's arse.
6 losing seasons in a row will foster that kind of hate.
You whiny arse Lee lovers have no effin idea what you are talking about.
But it won't stop the Lee lovers from starting a new thread every week telling us how Lee will go from most hated to most beloved QB in college football history.
Sell that shite to Disney because I'm not buying that screenplay.

1. Because the year before that (1999) he threw 7 TDs and 19 interceptions while going 2-8 as a starter 2. Because he stole time from Rohan Davey one of the best and my favorite all time tiger 3. Because he was arrogant as hell 4. Because he prevented good recruits in 1994 before going to MLB after committing to LSU Anything else?

Josh Booty - by far and away. JJ is close second. Perilloux is third. Jamie Howard is close fourth. Jamarcus Russell is fifth.

Yall are crazy. Marcus Randall by far!
Posted on 9/14/11 at 6:15 am to JuanBurch
1. Russell (if you include what he has done since he left LSU)
2. Lee/Jefferson
3. Booty
4. Randall
5. Howard (many are too young to remember him)
6. Perrilloux
of course this is just going back over past 20 years or so

Come on, Jamie Howard played for freaking Curley Hallman. Give the dude a break.
The answer is Josh Booty, just look at the 2000 Peach Bowl as an example. There was much better team chemistry when Rohan Davey stepped in, that's not a coincidence. Not to mention, better Oline blocking.

Auburn was on a 14-game winning streak and ranked #11 in nation under coach Terry Bowden when LSU traveled to Auburn in 1994, but it was the Bengal Tigers who led 23-9 entering the fourth quarter. LSU quarterback Jamie Howard threw five fourth quarter interceptions - three returned for touchdowns - as Auburn extended their winning streak to 15 games with a 30-26 win. Auburn, with star running back Stephen Davis, was held to a mere 165 total yards, and Howard received death threats after the loss.
And if memory serves (it may not) Auburn got its early TD off a Howard INT as well. They got 4TD's off interceptions plus a safety for the 30, their offense got zilch.
To Howard's credit though, after he staked Auburn to a 25-23 lead he led the team back downfield for a go-ahead TD before giving away the win on the last series.

Randall was not good, but does anyone really hate the guy? As a QB he was probably on about the same level as JJ, and he was not offensive in any way.
Overall most hated QB while playing at LSU was probably Howard after AU 1994, but I didnt think people harbored much hate now, considering he did play well after that and he had to play for Curley. It isnt like Howard alone kept LSU from being a powerhouse.
