Deal with it. Love it. Love the Tigers. Or shut the eff up and move on.
I am afraid there is going to be a lot of movin' on. There are storm clouds gathering on the horizon . Not just one thing needs to be changed but maybe entire philosophies. It's obvious we can't successfully run the offense we use with the personnel we're using. One or both are going to have to be changed. It seemed our defense sets were never the right ones , or again we don't have the personnel to run the defenses we are using. One or even both may have to change due to our defensive line results. The ship really needs righting right now, and we have the coordinators capable of doing it. This week and weekend better really be used to get ready for what is coming.

I will turn this around and ask.....when LSU hired Miles were there better candidates available?
I actually have no idea. I was pretty upset saban left us on xmas day. I hear Nutt was available though.
I just think its funny that people think we can change coaches and we just automatically will go undefeated and wont struggle in games. Then how long do we give the new guy? How many losses til we just keep looking?

So, Miles has won a national championship, a couple of SEC championships, an additional SEC championship appearance, another appearance in the national championships, has been winning in double digits pretty consistently, loses one game and people want him fired?
nice job skirting around all the issues that have been brought up. You think 2 sec titles in 10 years is acceptable?
You think him quitting on 1-9 was acceptable?
You think the fact he should have 9 more wins than he has is acceptable?
You think his player and game management, OTFD, and preparation is acceptable?
have you watched any games prior to Moo u this year??
EDIT: do you really believe he is outcoaching the other coaches left and right just because he get a W more times than not?

tied for 4th in the SEC?
After this season we will be 6th or lower.
Miles is amazing! kooky! zany! family man!

He believes that he should never show tendencies and tip his "hat" until he has to.

quote:I don't think he should be fired, but I would like to see a change. Maybe he goes to Michigan after this season. The program is trending downward since 2011. LSU has more underclassmen leaving than any other program....it's not like they are all 1-3 round picks either. Miles philosophy is great when you have a great defense. But we haven't had a great defense since 2011.

Jimbo has that entire programs success hinging on ONE POS player
No Winston, they wouldn't be playing in a NC game.
And he's recruited his arse off the past 2 years.
Not a Jimbo fan

nobody wants to look at what has been laid out and what caused crappy wins and losses on miles we wont look at it then that way on jimbo. we will just look at jimbo and miles nattys for the intellectually lazy.
SAME AMOUNT in WAY LESS TIME for jimbo! since that is all most here understand.

we will just look at jimbo and miles nattys for the intellectually lazy.
For example: When you compile Les Miles' results at LSU, it is reasonable to conclude that he is an exceptional coach and possibly the greatest in the history of college football in Louisiana.
quote:Miles won in his third season at LSU; Fisher won in his fourth at FSU.
SAME AMOUNT in WAY LESS TIME for jimbo! since that is all most here understand.

That we are tied for 4th in the SEC base don the stats you posted.
That we will be 6th in the SEC after this year.
That Miles has been to 1 BCS bowl (i.e., major bowl) in 7 years. And we got embarrassed.
Go ahead, post the Saban's players front loaded average stats. Best thing about averages, they always come back.

The BOOM is Jimbo won't be here
So
Just become an FSU fan and go shite up there site

I'm directed to the comment "who wouldn't want to coach here". Hopefully said coach does not read the rant, because that would give him plenty of reasons. I like Les and some coaches are better than he is, but not many.
I thought the OP gave a very rational description of our head coach....no coach is perfect and ever has been. Mistakes are obvious. Sometimes brilliance is obscured.
LSU is not the best team in the nation this year. Shocking fire the coach. Don't get me wrong, we may struggle this year. Any reasonable LSU fan was worried about the DTs and the MLB in the summer.
I don't think anybody thought the hiring of Grimes was a mistake, but so far where is the performance?
This may go down as Mile's biggest mistake comparable to the co-defensive coordinators and Dinardo's hire of Tepper.
OL is our most veteran group along with the TEs and all of them look like crap so far.
