I understand your frustration, but the story is deeper than that in my opinion. You are right however in stating that was the beginning of the disassembly of what had been built by the big three; Emmerett, Bertman and Saban.

You are an idiot. Les Miles did LSU a huge favor. LSU fired Miles, and so they owed him every dime left on his contract. They could have deferred paying him as long as he coached at another school, but as soon as he retired, resigned, or was fired then LSU would have had to continuing paying him his buyout. He took a $1.5 million buyout settlement and let LSU off the hook for the other $6.5 million still owed.

Les Miles' commercials are fun. i think they're great.
what i hate is the "we ready" commercial. when did media start reinforcing ignorance? oh, that's right. kardashians and real housewives, etc.
