The melting by some of yall here is embarrassing.

I've seen nothing but anger from people when some insiders said this was Kevin O'Sullivan's job to lose, then when it wasn't him the same clowns said it was Pat Casey's lose, and yet I've seen nothing but unnecessary melting from yall.
What in the frick is wrong with yall? Yall do realize we're in a Super Regional, looking to win that, right? We are focusing on that, and outside of McDonnell, every other coach they're likely looking at is still playing their season as well.
Woodward knows what he is doing, so just relax and realize that once the seasons are over, LSU will get its guy. Christ Almighty stop with the stupidity and the embarrassing melting. We will get the right guy. Have faith and stop the madness.

This board is a truly miserable place because of threads like these, not what you are describing. People only opine on candidates they like/don't like. We don't control what is real or fake news. The point of forums like this one is for people, who have no one to sound their opinions off of, to come and vent. That's why it's called "Tiger Rant".
Don't come to a message board looking for people to sing songs and hold hands with.

Excuse me but based on history, this is a good enough reason to be melting. We shouldn't get "LSU's guy" we should get the best guy. Selected in a vacuum.
There is too much good ol boyism involved in Louisiana and its politics and sports and sports and politics are blended in this state and the same kind of people that are on the BOS, TAF and have the ear of the AD are the same kind of people that run for office in this state.
Bianco is a prime example of your typical classic LSU hire. Former player/employee for/at LSU. Son plays(ed) for the team. Would be coming from SEC/south. Underwhelming and mediocre record. Average floor, average ceiling. "Nice" guy. Smiles, shakes hands, kisses babies and golfs with donors. Very Johnny Jones, Les Miles-esque. Willing to be controlled.
Real fans want a will Wade type hire. Young, hungry, fiery, demands excellence with a high ceiling. Doesn't have to have some amazingly long history and pedigree with championship rings. Just on an upward trajectory and someone who's turned around a program and created a marked difference between him and his predecessor.

"We're" not in a Super Regional, the LSU baseball team is and I'm sure they are focused on that. As fans we can discuss multiple topics at the same time on a message board without fear of it impacting the team. And the team reads any of this, they probably have a good laugh.

No one on this board or looking into PM's replacement has anything to do with the team getting ready for TN.
This is probably the only point in your OP that is worthy of a melt. Any discussions of going after the HC for the other 15 SR teams can only be speculation at this point as those HCs would not want to interview/discuss coming to LSU while they still have a major task at hand.

It has been the middle of the week...between games....at a time when very little is going on in the sports calendar. There is/was nothing else interesting to talk about EXCEPT the coaching search.
EVERYONE realizes that. But the ones who need to focus on that are the players/coaches. We are just fans here having a discussion until the games are played. And really, what difference does it make if some are "melting"? DISCUSSION/OPINION is the entire purpose of the board.

I don’t understand this. “WE” aren’t doing anything. The baseball team is doing that. Why can’t fans discuss coaching changes until 6pm tomorrow?
