Andy C. Worked the shite out of it with stall tactics and pitching changes, all to buy time for his bats. Bad news for Moo St., we are deep into their pitching and it's just a matter of time.

I think something happened when he slipped on the mound

Yup. We don't get a national seed if he doesn't come back and pitch so well especially early in the season when the team wasn't playing it's best.

Just like Omaha 2 years ago with poche. First inning dynamite. Then lost it completely.

As soon as the comments here get back to desperate we suck status things will be back to normal and we can start hitting and pitching again.

Who's up after Gilbert....Bain? Bush?

They had no reason to have anyone up in the pen. Poche just collapsed all of a sudden and you have to give them time to warm up. You can't just pop up and say hey to pitch now.

That's a strike again?

That was the same fricking pitch that Poche threw that was called a ball
Posted on 6/11/17 at 10:07 pm to RocketPower13
Poche hit that same spot the last batter

Maybe that slip off the mound affected him more than it seemed

unfortunately not even in line for the W
Why is that unfortunate? He has zero business being near a W award after that outing.

wow! Poche was one win away from tying the record and could not earn a win in his last two starts. If the Tigers advance, I don't think you can rely on him two pitch game 2 of the CWS over Walker.
