I don't like rooting for athletes to fail or get crushed because of how hard they work. But, something about the way the shot of Alex Cora laying there deflated is very satisfying to me.

Me either. I just remember them showing Cora with his hands on his face.
I talked to my dad later that day and he told me the outfielders just dropped.

Looks like we're almost ready to resume... it's the top of the 6th, Tigers lead 9-4. Watson struck out to start the inning before the delay, so Smith will be at the plate with 1 out.

the home videos they're showing were posted to youtube a couple years back. i believe a son posted them after his father died who was watching his final lsu game before he passed away. they're really cool because it's home video footage before we had smart phones, so it likely may be one of the only fan perspective videos in existence of that game
