Now we’re acting like victims even in hypothetical fantasy scenarios! LSU fans are really paving the way when it comes to break throughs in the field of victim’s mentality.

Nah, it wasn't close. It appeared close in full-speed but in slo-mo it clearly showed by the time had had control, he was out of bounds. I'll take it but in reality, it was a bad call. I think they gave it to LSU because the game was out of hand and JD5 was compiling stats.

Last year at Bama, Coach went all in for the win due to the refs calls.

That is a ridiculous take. Refs could influence an all or nothing play just as they could another OT. BTW, why in the world didn’t the refs call holding on BTJ going against Ricks? They could have. It was a judgement call. If they were in the bag for Bama they would have.

Ground can’t cause a fumble. It would’ve been marked down inside the one.

If it had been overturned then he would have been down. The ball didnt come loose until after his elbows hit the ground.

I agree with you, but so have to wonder why is it both hands have to touch the ball instead of say a hand and a stomach? Or a hip? I mean the ball was squooshed to Nabers the whole time and for a very very brief instant it was in his hands when he came down in the end zone. The ball never not one time touched the ground. Therefore they did not overturn the TD. But had it been for the win against almighty Alabama, it would have been incomplete.

1st and goal. His elbow down ended the play. Fortunately, the ball was touching the line, but if it would have been short, LSU would have had 1st down on the 1 foot line.

In the scenario you are suggesting here the call would be a touchback, not a safety.

It should have been overturned once they sent it for review. They just shouldn’t have sent it out for review in the first place. Getting the call right in a 49-14 game wasn’t necessary.
