Give me a football coach that lies every now and then

I wouldn't go that far...Les and his "lies" about injuries (guys being a little "nicked") and suspensions (guys being "withheld from competition") really started to get annoying.

But I am ok with a coach who doesn't feel the need to share the entire truth

Les told some whoppers. Jordan Jefferson always threw for 300 yards in the scrimmages.

Lol no he didnt. He just told lies that he thought made it look like he knew what he was doing and made him look good. He told the truth when he should have kept things close to the vest regarding strategy.

Dude never told the truth. He continually pumped sunshine up our a$$e$ when certain situations continued to worsen instead of improve.

Telling slobbering sycophants the things they want to hear is not the same as telling the truth.

How about not lying but either withholding information or giving non committal answers when there is no reason to blather on?

I'm just glad we have a coach that doesn't go on the radio and give Tbob the gameplan

This is the problem. He had no idea how to make a gameplan after Ensminger/Brady and Aranda left. This is what happens when you hire a career DL coach.

God this fanbase is fricking weird.

You don't have to lie to not tell the truth. It's called not saying anything period.

There’s a difference between “telling the truth” and rambling about things that happen to be true but don’t absolutely need to be said publicly on a radio show or press conference.

The scrimmage stat crap he used to do really ticked me off, only because I know he thought he was being clever doing that. Kinda like a 5 year sneaking the word poop in the conversation thinks it's clever.
