Not a bad brand to sell.

When is the last time that has been done?

Elmer Fudd's championship is to date the only one won with two regular season losses. He stumbled into that with dumb luck, emphasis on dumb: everyone in front of us losing

LSU=tGOAT...OR very close to it
Depending if you're talking modern era, since 1889,1908,whatever, recent-30 -40 yrs..
Over a long span

Fan support, money, Facilities, talent

This isn't 1950 with Notre Dame
This isn't a great run with one special coach (Ala-Saban)

Frick all the National Championship numbers.
Weak arse schedules and bullshite voting accounts why some programs 'have' 10-15.

We're taking over this bitch starting last year

When 3 different coaches in the modern area win National Championships in less than 18 years, that should tell the College Football world something.

Miami's run with 3 different if so should be applauded as well. They in a bad stretch right now, and it's great to see

I am not a Miles fan per say, but you could not coach a pee-wee team to a title so STFU......

We are on a completely different level than we ever have been before. Crazy that Coach O got us there. If you would've told me that 15 years ago I probably would've laughed so hard I would pass out.

If he stumbled into it, which team should have replaced LSU in 2007?

Hard to say, Oklahoma and USC ended their regular seasons on strong notes. Yes, having everyone in front of you lose is the definition of "stumbling in" or backing in if you prefer. It's the only way that buffoon could've won an NC

I doubt Miles could either but he's the one who made untold millions for failing

Don't miss Hermon.
Jimbo should have known better. Guess the money was too great. Maybe Woodward's biggest coup for LSU.

What kind of pathetic fan works so hard to denigrate what was only the 3rd (now 1 of 4) National Titles his team has won

Do you say the same about Spurrier? He needed 2 teams to lose (which Btw is all Miles needed) ahead of his only title. Saban has “backed” into titles as did Meyer. That’s how CFB worked.

It's literally the only time a team with two regular season losses has ever won an NC. Most years that would get you a Citrus Bowl bid or something. Miles is undeserving of being called a championship coach. You're seriously going to compare him to Spurrier who dominated the SEC with 5 conference titles and revolutionized how offense was played here

I actually said we shouldn’t expect much from O because three in a row was unlikely but he did it!!!

Neither could Miles.
LSU yes. Kansas NO!
Maybe if Arch Manning was on the Pee Wee team? Nope, Miles would have playing db.

I challenge anyone to find a HS team that looked worse-coached than LSU did at the end of the 2009 game at Oxford or the 2010 Tennessee game
