Have yall seen this abomination that they call a baseball field? Looks like a backward-arse softball field! LSU is gonna sweep that place clean this weekend!

Is there any specifications how far the back-stop is behind the catcher? It may be the angle of the pic but that looks absurdly far. I would assume they are all set to a standard?

Looked it up, seems to be a standard in college set at 60 feet.

I guess if you want to take the glass half full approach, we shouldn't get rained out. I'm assuming that is an artificial field, with dirt around the bases and plate right?

Well that's just garbage. Point still stands about the rain outs though. Hopefully, if it does rain, our players can adjust to sliding on that. It would suck to drop a game because their field turns into a slipping slide.
