We call that Selective Ree-enforcement.

Its funny watching them tout wins as a proof he is good coach after years of saying Miles' win% in now way meant he was a good coach.

I think it can be better Rick, esp in the red zone as you mentioned, but given the circumstances(OL shuffling, QB who got to campus 2 months b4 the season, average RB play) & personnel, it has been satisfactory.

The play calling alone is night & day compared to what it has been. When I see WRs running open & then dropping passes, that is not a knock on Ensminger play design. Which is what people like you do not understand.

Great run/pass balance. Unpredictable on early downs. The use of burrow as a chess piece in the run game. Good mix of safe vs risky.

Anything ill say youll chalk up to inexperience or execution as if its not the coaches job to clean up execution and get players ready.

Explain to me what that has to do with the actual play calling?? Again, learn how to separate this stuff, & learn how to apply context to the stats you use.

It’s cracking me up that there is actually people that think like this.

Who is talking about ultimate success?

Dealing in fluidity = what smart people do

Sitting around hoping everything crashes so you can validate your past opinions- enjoy continuing being a loser

Sure but we are great in the red zone because our fieldgoal kicker is automatic inside 50.

But we’re 124 in TD%

That’s an issue

So it was satisfactory durng the last coach right?

You dont the last coach went through personnel issues?

Just admit youre ok with our offense being god awful as long as its not te coach you hate.

I understand the context of my use of stats. You just want to make excuses for horrible production.

Its glorious watching you make excuses for this horrid offensive production.

We are 103rd in pass play called %.

You dont know what your talking about with balance.

I especially like how after every win there's a thread basically saying "Do you like Orgeron yet?" The begging for validation is pathetic.

I finally started saying, yep, nothing to prove, let's extend him. If we're wrong about him, no reason to not lock him up long term. But then they weren't willing to go that far.

You know what you did. Everybody knows how fortunate we are to have Burrow but we don't have him in a vacuum. The moves coach O has made should show you that he's prepared to do whatever it takes to win yet you act like Burrow happened by accident.

I hope by Saturday night you will be calling Coach O's effort an incredible one. Up to now, it's been pretty darn close.

Welcome back, by the way.

I have said this repeatedly, I hope I was wrong about Orgeron. I'd like nothing more than to be deadass wrong about him as a coach and watch LSU dominate for years.

I would start a thread calling myself a massive dumbass with no credible opinions if that happens.

The entire season, not that it matters. We still have Arkansas and Rice left this season, so SOS isn't going to improve much on 5th.

Basically you're wanting to employ the eye test to claim the first 8 of this season are much more impressive than the first 8 of 2015. That's fine if you hold that opinion, but it's a rather flimsy point to harp on.

Yeah there's still no massive demand or market value for him. We can keep him relatively cheap and on a short term deal and still pay out the arse for assistants and analysts.

Lsu is 103rd in ncaa in pass play called %
And 28th in run play called %.

Educate yourself instead of regurgitating bullshite stances.

I like A lot that Steve does but he doesn’t do it all the time.

I think We had only 1 read option vs Florida. We ran that play very effectively VS Ole Miss and UGA.

I think We look great on the short passes but run too many passnplays where everyone is 15 yards downfield.

Overall we’re are reliant heavily on bignplays to get thenoffense going and we are resistant to settling down and driving the field.

Hopefully this game is about drawing out drives, and keeping the ball.

i don't seem to remember anyone touting how impressive our wins were in 2015 based on our schedule...this year everyone is saying our schedule has been harder than anyone in the top 10

He deserves tos of credit. He has gotten this team to run through walls for him and his off season addition of Tracy and Burrow have to be commended.
