So Canada was a good hire in your eyes?

He hired someone that he didn't like from the get go. That's just as bad as hiring someone that can't do the job, because he basically didn't let him.

Actually I do, after he couldn’t get Kiffin (another crony BTW) he went and found the hottest name, it didn’t work he cut bait, that’s what he should do

think he was being kind. Canada was an abysmal fit and no power 5 team would hire Ensminger if he were on the open market today

Canada was a shite hire and I'm pretty sure that Alleva pushed him on O. I may be wrong but I think I read something to that effect.

I don't know why that you think that Ensminger's value on the open market is relevant. Does the head coach trust him? Yes he does. Ensminger is a good hire and has done well in spite of some challenges. I expect that this offense will continue to progress. Burrow will be a beast after a year in the program.

Thank you so much for this gem. Perfectly illustrates what I've been harping on.

Two sets of standards for Les and Orgeron. Never mind that that team was statistically better on offense and just as good on defense, this team just "feels" different.

Ensminger has proven to be a perfectly capable play caller & has gotten praise from many outside the program

So now its ok to have a god awful offense and win by defense?your hypocrisy is glorious

yeh i think most were optimistic about canada but he didn't seem to fit well. I realize our numbers offensively aren't very impressive but considering the schedule, new qb, no star rb, young wr's, and inconsistent line play ive been impressed.

Look at jimbo's old team they absolutely suck offensively and are historically good on offense and have an offensive minded coach. It seems easy to just become an offensive power but it isn't

So having a worse offense than almost every miles offense is now ok?

You quoted my post about attracting high quality coaches. Not about whether it was a good hire or not. What are you trying to argue here

Btw the fact you are still caught up on the Canada shite is a desperate arguing point. Not only is it old news. But you have a coach the recognized a bad fit, made a change, and it benefitted the program as a whole. As opposed to a cam Cameron stale situation, for instance. And all you can harp on is that it was a bad hire lol.

im talking about who we beat to go 8-0. Go back and look and tell me if you think that 8-0 is more impressive than us being 7-1 with our schedule this year

Youre impressed with being 91st in offensive yards per play?

Youre impressed with being 83rd in offensive tds per game?

I mean... The CFB committee does do an eye test to see who gets in, so there's that.

That the offense is God awful in redzone td scoring, that we are outside the top 60 in both rushing yards per play and passing yards per play.
The fact that outside of the georgia game the playcalling has been horrible.
The fact that we are an OC away from actually competing for titles.

Its amazing watching you tout a horrid passing attack and and an average rushing attack after years of shitting on our offense.

I will give the offense credit for stepping up when their backs are against the wall.

Everything isn't a comparison to miles. You obviously can't mentally let miles go. I'm not an "O" fan I'm just not biased against the man like posters in this thread. Do you compare everything this team does to past miles teams? What a godawful waste of time.

Do you think Ensminger is a bad hire? Yes or no is all that's required.

because we had LF and faced tons of weak defenses leading up to the bama game this offense doesn't have better statistics so what...answer one question

Do you think this years offense will perform better than the 2015 offense? you almost can't say yes b/c you are the one claiming 2015 had better stats...thus according to you must have been a better offense

Yes. We are an oc away from actually competing for titles

Except you shite on past miles offenses and tout and offense that is statistically worse.

The fact that you cant see your bias is astounding.

And before you do it...... at no point am i calling Miles' offenses great.

I said be specific.

The play calling has been horrible outside of UGA?? lol wut?? Be specific. I thought you knew football?? Can you separate the actual play calls from the results??? Early feedback says NO

Finally, you do realize we replaced everything in our offense from last year, right?

New OC
New QB
New backs & WR
New OL

Lunatik posted a link earlier in the thread that our SOS in 2015 was 5th nationally.
