Please list the game that Miles lost that was a "Troy like loss."

A les Miles team once went down 31-3 to Troy

If we have a colt David or Cole Tracy last year & not jack frickin gonsolin we aren’t even talking about this

Actually our passing yards per play under mileswas surprisingly good. It was the total passing yards that struggled.

I give early his props. He isnt football ignorant......
but ive yet to see you post anything but opinions and cherry picked wins and losses. The majority of our back and forth is you explaining how finishing with more losses and ranked lower in the top 25 is better.

Why would you want to go in a different direction when it was 3rd best winning % since 1832?

That makes no sense

Oh yea maybe it was cause in his last 3 years we lost games by 3 scores to Auburn, Miss, & ark. Including 2 of the last 3 vs miss & ark. Including 48-14 combined score his last 2 vs Ark & a 15’ drubbing in Oxford

But yea, not awful lmao

Troy was a lot more dominant in 08 than they were last year. Go check that tape

I firmly believe a canada offense with Burrow would be more productive than an enmsinger offense with burrow.

agreed. we surely would have still seen the zone reads with burrow had matt had him. also the back shoulder/fades with our big receivers. we also would have seen the fake jet motion screens to the back side and throws to the TE on the back side of the jet motion. we never implemented that last year.

O

I literally just now read the first page of this thread and then just went straight to the end when I saw how long it is. Rickdaddy’s first post in the thread was about having the most fun watching LSU this year in awhile and was complimentary of O. Fast forward to this page and it’s Lester Earl and Rickdaddy arguing about Miles.

We could have used your "directness" in some discussions with our favorite alter. That was fun.

Because thats not in a vacuum. LSU had and should be doing better than going 5 years without a west title.

You really dont think there is a gap between being ready for a change at HC and vastly underachieving into god awful status?

You dont see levels of underachievement?

And yet i dont see you calling our 2017 season god awful.
I wonder why getting stomped by a mid major, the worst loss in the 100+ plus year history of the lsu msu series, another loss to bama, and a 4th loss to a Notre Dame team isnt considered awful. What has changed?

We got stomped by a team with zero nfl talent while we had tied for the 2nd most players drafted and had the second most players overall sign free agent contracts along with the drafted players.

Miles deserved to be fired.

O deserves credit for this season. Its been a blast outside a couple throw away halves against scrubs. Hope he keeps it up.

Because I understood the expectations from the beginning for a program that fired a coach 2 years too late. You keep saying it; we fired the winningest coach.... now think about the circumstances that takes to happen..major shite needs to happen, right? Then like the next coach should hit the ground running ??? Huh? No time to mend?

We were what we were. A former power that has been knocked down to earth,

All of my posts have been consistent since they hired O. You get a year to sort things out then let’s go. We played a lot of young players last year & our best 4 players were hurt most of last year. You want to talk about a vacuum yet you apply zero context. You are no better than clown takes we saw all offseason.

Lol last years team lacked top end talent & was one of the least talented teams of the last 10’years. Not to mention Guice or Lawrence didn’t play & I think another OL too

Woohoo Russell gage, Danny etling & will clapp got drafted in the 7th rd, lets throw a party!! What about our other 4 multiple year starting linemen who couldn’t even get drafted

It’s why you can replace all those guys & actually have a better team the next year.

Infinitely more talented than troy.

And if we lost to a mid major with zero nf talent this year it would still be god awful.

Im stil waiting on you to explain why losing 3 games is god awful but 4 games isnt.

Troy didnt have single 4 star on their team. We had 52 4 and 5 star players.

By all means keep making excuses for O after years of shitting on an actual accomplished lsu coach.

Miles was making a habit of losing to the ole miss and Arkansas of the conference those last few years

Let's not forget that ole miss and arky were a LOT better then than they were 2016-18

True, but now State is improved.

The SEC West is loaded.

Bama is great
We're ranked #3
Auburn, A&M and State have all been in the Top 25 all or most of the season.

5 really good teams in 1 division makes for a murderer's row....

Then you add UGA and Florida to our schedule this year. Wow

We will play 7 ranked teams in 12 games. 8
In 13 if we make to Atlanta.

That's way more than any other team from any other conference.
