Any one else tailgate there for the SEC champ game? If so, how is it? Debating on getting a pass there or in the Home Depot backyard lot. Only thing is the Home Depot lot doesn’t open till 11:30.

I’ve never hosted a tailgate in the Gulch but have been to several. It’s usually a pretty rowdy atmosphere, would definitely recommend over the other lots

The Home Depot backyard opens at 7. It’s hands down the best place. Did it for the seccg.

That being said they don’t allow charcoal/open flame. So gotta be a gas grill type setup. Indoor bathrooms though. Very easy in and out of stadium.

That’s where we are going again.

We’ll have the RV in the Gulch this time. Looked a blast during Sec Champ game when we walked by.

It looked pretty awesome for the SECCG but it probably won’t be as hopping without all the Georgia fans. I don’t know how many LSU fans even know about it. It’s probably still the best place to tailgate.

Learned a lot about tailgating under the overpass in the Gulch when I was 15. That ‘01 SEC championship was memorable.

Looking at Google Maps... how the heck do you get into the lot?

I was in the Gulch Lot for the SECCG and bought a pass for the Peach Bowl. It was a great time and Tigers everywhere. The people I met there for the SECCG said they will be back for the Peach Bowl with more people this time. Can’t wait!

Use Waze and it will guide you right to the parking lot entrance. Don’t use any other maps app.

Edit to say, my parking pass says the Gulch Lot opens at 6am Saturday morning. The people I met up with for the SECCG said they let people in late the night before though.

Can we park and walk over to the Gulch lot? We already bought a parking pass. Sorry if it’s a stupid question

Yes you can park and walk to the Gulch Lot. We will probably get there around 8-9am Saturday morning, maybe earlier

More the merrier! Wont be a fancy tailgate by any means but hey, we're all family right?
