2026 205.5 ypg rushing
2025 104 ypg rushing
2024 115 ypg rushing

Just bring in the I formation for certain plays and you can cram it down throats.

I honestly miss the days of having a real, live fullback on the roster.

I don't think that we should return all the way to the Les Miles toss dive bullshite.

But man there were some good times when we just powered over teams.

You didn't watch any Oregon games the past two years?

Line up Geralds as FB in 3-1 or goal line situations

Geralds as FB

I would LOVE to see Gerald’s meet a linebacker in the hole on an old school ISO

I’m liking how they’re using Grace.

Not complaining just wish we had more quality depth. Looking forward to seeing Berry step up

This just makes me despise low flyin' Brian that much more. The only running game we had was Jayden during his years here.

And props to this staff. Great work.

I'm actually shocked we even had that much in 24 and 25. It was so bad.

Agreed.

A good running game is always the mark of a good offense. It opens everything else.

I thought that was Geralds in the Ole Miss game coming out of the backfield on that penalty. I actually predicted he would score on a goal line play that game. But I didn’t see a replay, and the game got so crazy after that nobody talked about it on the broadcast. And nobody brought it up here. Somebody did mention Harper lining up in the backfield once or twice against Ole Miss.

I wonder if who we thought was Geralds wasn’t actually Harper. Just hard for me to believe with all the hype he’s getting, nobody would have started a thread on that play. Or referenced several times at the very least. And I seem to remember him doing that at Ole Miss a couple of times last year too. Not sure if he touched the ball or was just in there to block.

Just bring in the I formation for certain plays and you can cram it down throats.
BK, Frank Wilson and Sylvester Davis as opposed to LK, Kevin Smith and Wolford/Cregg.

Power I with 2 RB's and a FB inside the 3 yard line.

Right now our running game is more system based than actual running ability.

It’s going to be different in a couple of years IMO as the OL we have out there is better.

But is is absolutely eye opening to see what a great system can do to make defenses struggle to stop you.
