BTW, anybody thought of how much of a distraction all this is going to be for both teams?...........

yea its great he is all on being ready for this but starting evacs before a storm that is only a tropical storm enters the gulf is way over what is needed.

Sent and got a text from TAF friend, in a meeting about the game right now, they are doing conference calls with the state and ESPN, trying to compromise with a 11:30 kickoff time..will still make evacuation possible for 6pm Saturday if needed..he told me to text him back at 1100 his time..(I'm in Germany)..stay tuned..Sound to me like ESPN (hates LSU) is trying to make this a go...

ESPN hates LSU? Do you realize they are putting LSU vs App state on TV? If not for ESPN people woud have to get tigervision to watch the game. So please explain to me why you think ESPN hates LSU?

As far as I have heard from my people...game on, most pregame festivities put on by the university will be cancelled. Game time is still waiting to be confirmed.
