The game against LA Tech was the worst LSU will play all year

Even CJJ said the consecutive strikeouts against our top 3 hitters will never happen again this season. Not even taking into account the worst defense this team will play this year...

This is an Omaha team.

Let's play Arkansas, MSU, or Vandy before we start making assumptions.

MSU also lost to an inferior team. Just saying...the defending National champions lost to a team they shouldn’t have. You can’t criticize LSU for losing to LA Tech (a super regional team with an outside shot for Omaha) when MSU loses to a team that they shouldn’t

That’s obviously not what he said.

He did say it. He said there won’t be another team to strike out Morgan, Crews and Berry consecutively this season. And he’s right.

No he didn’t. He said “the three high level players at the top of the lineup aren’t going to go 0-14 very often or whatever it was”. No one would ever promise that they would never strike out three times a row the rest of the season.

I didn’t see anything this weekend that leads me to believe that our defense is comfortable yet.

Might be hard to do if Doughty continues to bat third.

The point was that this will never happen again in the season. And it won’t. As a Tech grad, I love that it happened that way, but it will never happen again.

LSU is an Omaha team this year. Tech is a super regional team, but won’t make Omaha.

I also hope we don’t play in 36 degrees and rain or the rest of the year. That looked miserable.

Posts like these are just as bad and stupid as the ones that said the sky was falling after the Louisiana Tech loss.

Not every single game has to be a referendum for the rest of the season.

Fact is, this team has a lot potential offensively, but we still haven't played anyone worth a shite to know if they are realizing that potential.

Many lsu fans have zero clue about baseball. Sometimes odd games just happen. Crappy teams beat good teams. It’s why baseball is so awesome.

Let’s see how next weekend goes before talking much about Omaha.

Saturday night prime time game against #1 Texass should be epic.

It’s true. LSU is an Omaha team regardless of what they did against against tech

The team hasn't played anyone with a pulse yet besides Louisiana Tech.

Take Louisiana Tech out of the equation and the combined record of LSU opponents this season is 5-17.

Maine: 1-5
Towson: 2-6 (both wins over Southern)
Southern: 2-6 (both wins over other SWAC teams)
