The fumble by Emery

1) It WAS a fumble.
2) The ref got the call right - LSU should retain possession.
3) The refs explanation was horrible - as was the officiating all day. He said that they could not determine possession. What he should have said was that the runner regained possession and was down by contact. The ball was taken from him after the play had ended.
4) The announcers, who were the worst I have ever heard in any game EVER, dwelled on it for the rest of the game - they constantly wen back to it and consistently commented how valiantly the Arkansas players were handling it.
Summary: The game was poorly officiated and very poorly announced. The product that ESPN puts out for college football is rapidly diminishing. Many posts are talking about apathy this year. Poor play and poor coaching are only highlighted by poor officiating and poor commentary. There are so few stands in the stadium that the entire experience seems bland.
Hopefully next year COVID is behind us and we can get back to good and entertaining CFB.

Is the reason the coaches have been so bullish on TDP and Curry Coach O has mentioned many times Emery’s need to protect the football...after that play TDP got around twice the carries Emery did the remainder of the game it seemed

Poor you to have to subject yourself to words. Toughen up. I didn’t even notice. It’s not that hard to just watch the football game. And if you do notice some SJW saying.....ok? You can still just watch the game as you would’ve before.

I just got to this part in the game. I didn’t see the play yesterday.
From what I could see I thought it was the correct call. They didn’t show the slow mo enough for me to see if Emory fully recovered or if the Arkansas player actually had it.

And yes...It’s like he didn’t even both to watch the whole replay. Just the initial fumble then who came away from the pile with the ball. smh

I agree with you, but I'm curious if YOU would have the same opinion if you saw "Pro Trump" and "MAGA" signs in every camera shot.

I would still watch the game as I usually would. I voted for Trump. Does my post about toughening up about seeing SJW slogans during football games suggest otherwise?
