Position players only!!
We all know pitching will be unbelievably, incredibly, insanely, deep!!
Slaughter and Cabell are now gone.
C - Garza (apparently Willis has arm issues)
1st - Beloso
2nd - Broussard
SS - Hughes
3rd - Smith
LF - Cabrera
CF - Watson
RF - Duplantis
If Willis is good to go. Garza plays 1st and Willis would be my catcher.

Who would have thought our outfield remained completely unchanged

He DH'd only all his senior year after having some work done on his shoulder.

On here. Someone was saying he was seen in a sling not long ago. Someone will weigh in on that soon I’m sure.

Project, has there been anything said about Bryce Jordan returning next year???
Posted on 6/7/18 at 5:46 pm to LSUFanMizeWay
I’m still waiting on that news to hit me.

I haven't seen anything, but there are others here much more tuned into that situation than I am. If it's not on the internet, I don't really have a way to find out.
I don't really have any inside sources.

Dugas will start at 2nd . No way you keep him out of lineup . I hope Smith goes back to short and Bianco at third.

I could be wrong, but 3 true freshman on the IF would be shocking.

Project, I should have done my due diligence a little more before posting my starting lineup cuz I just read up on this Mathis kid coming from Northwest Florida and he seems like a defensive guru. Which if we are all being honest a catcher that can hit is a plus but they are waaaay more valuable catching, throwing and being a field general. This kid sounds to have that side down pat!

Doubt we will opt for both Broussard and Hughes starting.

Haha Broussard was killing it before his injury. He still played pretty well defensively afterward. Hughes had a great season at SS. His bat was starting to come around a little at the end. But playing time against big time competition is invaluable and that’s something they both now have over the others. Also, PM is very loyal to his vets. Not all the time but more times than not for sure.

Not as shocking and frustrating watching Hal Hugh’s at bat.

Dugas that much of a sure thing? Hope so. What’s his ranking on perfect game

C-Willis or Mathis (honestly don't know a whole lot about these guys)
1b- Garza
2b-broussard
SS-Smith
3b-Bianco
LF-Cabrera
CF-Watson
RF-Dups
I'd personally like to see Dups and Cabrera trade spots in the outfield.
And it wouldn't surprise me to see Hughes at SS and Smith back at 3rd but I think they try to get as many big bats in the lineup as possible to start

Did you want Austin Nola out of the order in 2009?
