The difference between Brennan and Finley.

In the first three games we ran the ball an average of 38 times a game for 176 yards. Last night we ran 54 times for 283. The difference is in the running game. When you can run effectively it makes your passing game a LOT better.

Offense hasn't been the problem.

The difference between Brennan and Finley is the defense.

Absolutely, lets just be happy that we have great depth at QB

Finley looked more poised and more decisive than Myles, it’s not even debatable. But apparently that’s a controversial opinion to most of this board.

Body language is totally different.

But in the first half the pass to run ratio was way more even, and Finley was incredibly efficient even then.

We will continue to run it like that if we have a qb that’s actually a threat to keep the ball In this offense lol.

This. We’ve been waiting so long to see Brennan and give him a shot, that when someone else comes along and is better, we don’t wanna believe it.

That’s actually very debatable

That's because Finley was running a watered down version of the offense. He was getting the ball out of his hands quick, with minimal reads. He did a great job. Ensminger did a great job of calling plays for him.
Some of you will have a very rude awakening whenever we play a good defense if Brennan is still hurt.

Let’s not pretend Brennan has played a good defense yet either.

Brennan is a rich, white guy
Finley is a cool brother

That's a valid point. I think we have just seen a full version of the offense with Brennan, and he was progressing nicely in it each week. We didn't get the whole thing with Finley. And I'm not trying to take anything away from Finley at all. He did exactly what was asked of him, and he did it very very well.

Surely you’re not this stupid, Finley was running an RPO like last year that opens up the run, Brennan can’t do that.

Why do you think Brennan can't run an RPO?

Actually, it’s not.

Because he thinks an RPO involves the qb running the ball

Finley was 14-18, for 216 yards and two tds in the first half. Then we started running very heavy in the second half because of the big lead.
