But he can keep on the read option, also seemed to sell the fakes better on the run pass option. He just ran the offense better and was in control. And I know it was South Carolina, but they are the best team we have played, sadly

In the first three games we ran the ball an average of 38 times a game for 176 yards. Last night we ran 54 times for 283. The difference is in the running game. When you can run effectively it makes your passing game a LOT better.

In two of the first three games we were playing from behind or in a track meet which dictated more passing. We had a substantial lead in the second half which allowed us to take the air out of the ball. Regardless, there's no doubt that LSU came out wanting to establish the run and it did which immensely helped getting Finely comfortable. However there is still the fact that we converted third downs last night for a change.

He’s no threat to run, did you eat stupid pills this morning. Brennan is a statue out there.

Run means the QB or running back can run the ball, not just the running back with Brennan who like I said is a statue

Being able to execute a QB sneak for short yardage was very helpful in moving the chains, especially in the red zone.

The difference is decision making ability. Brennan's timing was off much of the time. Not the case last night.

Back to back post of calling people stupid, yet you are the one that's dead wrong.

#1- the RPO doesn't require a running QB. Not at all.

#2- being black does not automatically give Finley the ability to be a running QB. As a matter of fact, he's not a dual threat QB at all.

Why do you think Brennan can't run an RPO?
Look, there he goes. It’s the dumbass who thinks an RPO is the same thing as a read option. Everyone laugh at him

The offensive line played much better.

Then put Max in. Was 3 steps faster than either of the 2 we've seen. O managed to not let him run the offense last night.

That's because most of Finley's decisions were made before the ball was ever snapped. They limited the decisions Finley had to make and got the ball out of his hands quickly.

Surely you’re not this stupid, Finley was running an RPO like last year that opens up the run, Brennan can’t do that.

With Brennan playing LSU was 2nd in the sec in RPO % of plays

Even on plays where it may have been designed to go to a guy on a short pass, Finley got the ball out to them in unbelievably short time, making those plays more efficient. Brennan doesn’t get the ball out and into a receivers hands that quickly even on those same called plays.

You're so wrong, man. 1. You can't make a statement like that without concrete proof. 2. You're an apologist for a QB who couldn't beat Mississippi State or Mizzou (imagine if Orgeron put Finley in on that 1st and goal). We'd be (3-1) still in the running...

That's just ignorant, how many times did he scramble then throw the ball downfield accurately? Get your facts straight TJ played awesome a used all of his WR throughout the game.

Are you really sitting here complaining about how the offense was run last night?

You don’t think we ran the ball more once we were up to kill the clock vs playing catch up in the other games?

Yet you can make the opposite statement without any proof?

Imagine if we had played defense in any game. We would be 4-0.

I'm not taking away ANYTHING from Finley. He played great.
