Skip to the 6:44 mark. This was LSU basketball when I was in high school and college.

Fun times.

It would be great if we can return to this and then surpass it.

That's not even the peak of the Deaf Dome. Around 90 was a rebirth. The Deaf Dome was at its best in that 79-81 window.

What a great game! We camped out on the ramp of the PMac the night before and nearly froze our giblets off. Ended up at front of student section and was hoarse for damn near a week.

The most dynamic team in the country will once again pack the PMAC. Over 14,000 roaring fans.

College basketball is a shell of it's former self as a whole. The best players all play for the same 10 or so schools every year and they play one season. We'll never see the great player rivalries like we saw back in the 70s-90s.

It will never be like it used to be.

LSU Gymnastics is now much more exciting than LSU Basketball. (Too many screaming little girls though for my tastes, but I do make one or two meets)

I was there in the student section. That was my favorite memory in the old deaf dome.

You'll never get to that with this fan base. They only show up half arse for big games, and when they get there for those it's a wait and see if I'm going to get hype for this or not.

Dam how I remember those days.... I was there for UNLV and Loyola Marymount.... 2 of my own personal favorites other than Kentucky and Georgia Tech NCAA Tourney games... the PMAC was ROCKIN' back in those days... fun times.... not sure it will ever recover.....

Leaonard Mitchell and Howard Carter were better than Shaq and Vernon, both impressive though.

Thanks, never watched that before. No idea how jackson was able to save that inbounds pass before blanton hit the game winner
