Welch had a big play on special teams against army so he’s not in the doghouse or anything. I think he’s just lost on defense but he was good in the spring .

I think they try to coach Welch up in the next two weeks and he starts against bama opposite stamps or hughes

Seems like a good coach would think about moving a wide receiver ath. to db position unless the young guys step up

Those two positions are not as similar as some of you believe. It’s one thing to do that in the offseason or have a guy like Travis Hunter who knows them both play both ways. We did it once in an emergency situation during bowl prep, but that’s not something you do over a bye week.

The natural position to move guys from is Safety since they know the defense and the calls for the secondary. They’ve already got Yaites playing Dime and Toviano cross training.

Ryan Robinson ain’t your typical walk-on; had P5 offers

I expected to see some low tier Power 5 offers but he had them from Tennessee, Oregon, Ole piss, Missisppi State, Florida State, Auburn, Nebraska, Duke, Kentucky.

Kid must really love LSU because it'd be hard to turn down a scholarship to some of those places

They may not have all been committable offers, but that level of program showing interest still tells me he has more talent than the typical walk-on.

We have been decimated in the secondary all year long.

We lost a lot more than 1 in 10.

Kelly really fricked us this year. Most important position on the team outside qb

I’m not sure if he’s serious. If he is he’s an idiot. 4 db’s hurt, 2 can’t get right. You can’t help that shite. It’s sucks but BK won the west last year when he wasn’t supposed to. I’m going to give him room to build the team.

We need numbers in the secondary. I like adding the Causey's because he may break out and be the one. I've seen it before when "little" Dalton Hilliard arrived and humbly tore apart our defense, then all the SEC then the NFL.
