Thanks to Orgeron and his staff's talent evaluations
Orgeron and his staff had nothing to do with bringing in and developing Jayden Daniels.

They did a good job in that department, but the roster was depleted, both numbers wise, and in key positions. BK deserves credit for bringing in Daniels.

The irony is, had LSU gone 3-9 in year one with a shite QB, BK would have gotten a pass. a 6-6 in year two with a bowl win for win #7, and “fans” would have been happy with the progress.
An 8-4 season in year 3 with a chance to pick up win #9 would have “fans” optimistic about the future.

Instead, back to back 10 win seasons, a Heisman winner, and a chance at 9-4 has people wanting to fire him.

Ironic indeed.

Kelly himself said to judge him in year 3. Why are people mad when he’s judged in year 3?

Looking at the roster and coaching staff, I’m going to say his tenure has been successful to a large degree at this point.

He needs to get into the playoffs next year though, or his seat is going to be warm.

Because people are using that as an excuse to ignore the first 2 years which were pretty good

Year 1: I'll give him credit.

Year 2: He fielded arguably the worst defense in school history.
If the 12-team playoff started last year, LSU still would've been left out. If JD5 didnt put on his Superman cape against Missouri, Florida, and Arkansas, that team wouldve been 6-6.

Year 3: Lost 3rd opener in a row. Lost 3 straight during the most critical part of the season. Finished unranked.

2023 recruiting class (BK's first full class)... development and management has been a complete disaster. They should be your rising juniors or 3rd year sophmores.

It's all about perception when you have low IQ fans involved.

Nah man, this is Orgeron's fault too somehow. Maybe Miles if you think about it.

Chester
Mubenga
Toviano
Trey Holly
Kaleb Jackson
Tyree Adams
Kyle Parker
Dylan Carpenter

A few guys that could be our stars next year. Seems about right for the transfer portal era

Texas bowl roster will provide a great insight as to the football state of the program compared to when he took over. A chance for LSU fans to see where 3 years and 30 plus million dollars has gotten us.

You really do believe the program was humming along in pristine condition and your hero was in total control don’t you? You’ll say this then bleed out about McMahon inheriting squat (which was one of the appealing things in this era to come in and quickly rebuild the roster).

Im unhappy with BK too but O had us in the gutter. You have to be an absolute re- well, you have to be YOU to believe otherwise.

It's all Ryan Perrilloux's fault.

JD passed the ball to himself? Pretty sure Malik, BTJ, and Taylor were recruited by O

Dinardo also had two losing seasons and 2-8 in 1999 before he was fired.
