That's what this is all about. I get it, they are a tough match up. If Clemson is that good, we will eventually have to beat them to win it all anyway.

Wanting the easiest path to the championship game is not the same as being afraid. Who wouldn't want to play Utah rather than face a 2 time championship program (recently) in Clemson? I can assure you that Ohio State and its fans feel the same way.

Not sure who fears them, I sure as hell don’t.
If I was a fan of another school, I’d pick LSU to win every time,
Maybe that fear is the posters here that every week make the “trap game”, “we are looking past”, “I have a bad feeling” threads.
Burrow has crushed those negative notions 12 straight weeks.

No fear, just victory.

There is no fricking fear.

God damn, it’s not complicated. LSU fans feel like LSU is the #1 team. With that, comes post season advantages. It sucks to not have those seemingly earned advantages.

Shut the frick up.

+1

We feel we deserve the #1 and the advantages that come with it. Couldn’t have said it better.

No one is afraid of Clemson and their shitty schedule and girly-mon QB.

Frick those Tigers and bring it on.

It's not fear so much as hoping to have the risk minimalized.

Having to win vs UGA, Clemson, and OSU in a row is a tall order with little margin for error. Even for a team with the quality of LSU.

I'd just rather not have to beat three elite teams in a row to win a title while the other team competing for #1 would only need to beat 1 elite team to win it all.

I would actually enjoy an LSU Clemson match up. Still sour about that bowl loss a few years ago and it would be nice to beat the defending champs

also screw dabo

I would rather play Clemson and then tOSU. The reason is that both have similar offenses that schematically have given us trouble and it would be nice to have the prep time to prepare for it. Having to prepare for two different offenses has consequences as we saw with Bama last year.

A team like Utah could be the perfect underdog to come in and play with their hair on fire with something to prove. They have a nasty Dline as well. We’ve seen Kyle Whittingham in that role before. They would have nothing to lose and all bowl season they would hear that they don’t stand a chance. They would also be playing for the PAC-12. Jalen Hurts could provide issues like Plumlee.

It would be nice to be the team that knocked Dabo off his pedestal as well. I say bring on Clemson. Dare Venebles to throw exotic blitzes at Burrow.

The Clemson fear

I don't think that is what has everyone upset.

I think the lack of respect by the committee for winning the SEC West, blowing through the SEC undefeated, blowing through the a respectable non-conference schedule undefeated.
Regardless of Texas' record at this point, that was a tough task to go into a major program's home stadium and succeed. Ohio St. scheduled such juggernauts as Florida Atlantic, Cincinnati, Miami of Ohio, and Maryland(at home).
And now it appears that the committee is artificially inflating the rankings of OSU's wins to justify their eye test metrics.

Also, giving Ohio St. the choice of where is wants to play it's first playoff game is definitely an advantage.

Exactly. The fear from alot of you after what we have done this season really shows your lack of confidence in this team and coaching staff.

Right, the path to the title game "potentially" for OSU as of now is Wisconsin then Utah. Much different than Georgia then Clemson.

All I'm "afraid" of is LSU being treated unfairly due to things that don't happen on the football field.

If we lose to a better team, that's fine.

If we have a harder road to a championship because some schmucks on a committee stack the deck for whatever reason, that's not fine.

I think we are better off playing Clemson.

It will be the best preparation for Ohio State.

It would be absolutely laughable if LSU were to lose the SECCG and be left out, so that OSU would only have to play Wisconsin (9 total 4 and 5 star recruits on the team) and Utah (8) to make it to the championship.

While LSU has to beat UGA (60), Clemson (40).
After already having beaten Bama with however many elite players they have.

The system sucks. Hope Joe and LSU shite all over the committee and win it anyway.

Ohio State is going to choose to play in Glendale over Atlanta.

There are a ton of Buckeyes fans in Phoenix.

LSU vs Clemson in Atlanta will be our CFP Semifinal Match-Up.
