No, it is still open this season. The advantage to it now is that you can buy liquor in addition to beer there. Also, they have access to Burgersmith and maybe one other restaurant for a little bit better food options. It is a cool place to go to during halftime or during parts of a blow out game to have a place to cool off, drink, socialize, eat, all while still watching the game on a big screen.
And OP, I'm not 100% on this, but I believe it opens when the gates to the stadium open, which is 2 hrs. before kickoff.

yes it opens when stadium opens. cost 5 no free beer this year. but yes you can buy mixed drinks

I paced around there anxiously while drinking two beers and watching the TVs during the 3rd quarter vs FLorida.
It's absolutely a functional and nice addition to the SEZ.
