I really hope we are not going back to the stone ages of offense
Even with the spread you have to be able to run the ball but we better utilize the wrs we have or we gonna lose recruits

Offensive line is a work in progress. Not the most athletic line he has coached.

so he said "he wants to be physical, but the OL is a work in progress"? oh crap, just what we thought...I believe CBK will work it out...sounds like quite confidence

I think some folks are going to be frustrated with the offensive direction under Kelly. A departure from what lsu has done or tried to do over the past 3 seasons.

Agreed but others will enjoy a more balanced offense. Kelly said 116 yards per game like LSU had a year ago is unacceptable.

It will be fine until we lose a game 17-14. Then this place it’s gonna lose its mind

Y’all better keep your eyes on Walker Howard. By late season he could be the man.

That wasn’t exactly it.

We know C is going to take some time given Dellenger’s inexperience there, but Kelly said hes 315 and it doesn’t matter what nose you put on the other side of him - he won’t get pushed back.

He then went on to rave about our options at OG and how big/physical they are, particularly Bradford at 345. Sounds like they may kick him inside or keep him outside.

Then he mentioned the edges, and that didn’t have much detail, but we know a true FR LT is not always the best position to be in (thanks, O).

It’s a work in progress because it is. It didn’t sound like Kelly thought it would fail, but we got guys in new positions and a FR at LT. We’ll see how it goes.

WRs will move around a lot to prevent defenses from being able to scheme receivers out of the game. Feel he was specifically talking about Boutte.

Says he has hit a home run with freshman TE Mason Taylor. Compares him to UGA TE Brock Bowers.

He’s really high on mason taylor. Basically said he’s the starter at TE and that he’s as good a TE as he’s had

Mentioned he has 7 TEs on active nfl rosters and Taylor is as good as they were in college
