Not in Tiger Stadium but it was technically a home game at ASU in 2005, the River route.

9 minute mark River route FTW.

At the 45 on the run money in the bag clutch.

Great thread. What an offseason thread is suppose to be. Perfect timing too. Man I miss those past connections. Hodson-Davis, Davey-Reed, JM-Bowe...Leggo 2013!!!

Bert Jones against Tulane, the week after we beat Notre Dame. He rolled all the way to the left sideline at the fifty yard line then threw against the grain to Andy Hamilton who made a finger tip catch at the goal line by the right sideline. The ball had to travel at least 70 yards.

Best throw I've seen was JR on one knee from the 50 go through the uprights during pregame warm-ups

i don't know why it sticks out in my mind, b/c i can't remember the specifics, but Tim Couch in the late 90's had 2-3 of the best passes i've seen in one game (we're talking about in TS).

after one of the TD's i remember thinking "we covered it perfectly, there's nothing we could've done (short of PI)".

if i have to pick an LSU passer there were many rohan and JR throws but i think Mauck to skyler green in the UGA game gets the most love from me.

ironically because of a poor JR throw...

Actually it was piss poor play calling that lost that game for us. For some reason we tried to run the flippin ball all game long. We had lots of success when we did throw the ball..I'm still shaking my head.
Yea the penalty flag was complete BS, but if we would have thrown the ball more we would have won that game hands down.

FWIW, Say what you want about Jamarcus, but he was a freakin' beast at LSU.

Flynn to Byrd against Auburn in 2007 was pretty awesome.

Flynn to byrd was so intense! I still don't see how he reached around the defender and caught that ball

I think this is the most beautiful throw/catch I've seen; maybe not the best, but it's a thing of beauty: JLee to RR vs UF

JL made some beautiful throws in 2011. That time under Krag did wonders for him.

The throw that Flynn made to Byrd may be the best throw ever by anyone. Great catch as well, but because the coverage was almost perfect then if that ball isn't thrown PERFECTLY then LSU loses that game. There is no defense for a perfect throw.

Rex Grossman - several - 2001

Nobody remembers because there was no one left in the stadium.

I posted his highlights from that game earlier in the thread. Marked a couple that were perfectly defended and perfectly thrown too. That was a clinic.
