The Best Solution - hand over the Tiger Stadium service to Buc-ee's

Two biggest complaints - crappy bathrooms and poor concessions. Aramark might as well serve microwaved alpo using people fired from the airport.

There's only one outfit that could handle this all - Buc-ee's. Give them carte blanche to redesign the bathrooms and hire people. They probably handle more people in less time, with the highest satisfaction, than any other operator.

Keep the LSU contract oversight folks who care more about BS contract provisions that actually HURT the service away from the stadium.

I think they should contract spots out to 4-5 different businesses. Let them bid on it, and it goes to the largest bidders. Let's just say your 5 highest bidders are Canes, McDonalds, papa johns, walk ons, tj ribs (just randomly throwing out names). They provide the workers, the food options, and compete with each other for customers. It would create:
1- better food quality
2- better customer service

You could also let different student groups across campus run a regular concession with drinks, candy, nachos etc. Give them a piece of the pie as a fundraiser for their group. Everybody wins.

I know the owner.. he used to be the school board president for Brazosport ISD back in late 90s - early 2000s. Good person and great boss from what folks tell me.

Almost no matter what you do, packing 100,000 people into a stadium, when 60,000 of them are drunk, isn't going to result in the nicest bathrooms.

I know they did, but you don't see the difference between Aramark and what I said?

Serious question. How’s it possible to keep bathrooms clean with that many people. Fans have to take some responsibility in this. Don’t piss or throw up on the floor would be a good start.

You don't think combined that 4 or 5 different groups, competing for the highest bid with each other, couldn't match or get higher?

Maybe they couldnt, or wouldn't be willing to. I don't know. But even if they don't quite meet it, you are giving fans a much better experience.

Treat it like a food court in the mall. Businesses rent space and you get a percentage of their sales.

The bathrooms? The stadium club bathrooms are always clean. That is what a valet does for you.

Race Track's are on the up here on the Northshore. All the other gas stations can't keep up. Just an observation I made as I recently became an outside salesman

Perhaps LSU could hire pretend veterans like yourself to cook. You can act like you are doing it for your country.

The sad thing is, Aramark does concessions for the Astros and they’re quite good. Maybe LSU is paying for the lowest level food n service.

—-I think that’s how it was done for decades.
