It is actually kind of funny.

It's like that fake scene in Rudy when all the players came in and put their jerseys on the desk to let Rudy play

except this is reality

either Wade is the most damn beloved coach of all time, or he recruited the biggest bunch of uncompetitive kids in the nation.

Quite sad indeed.

Onward and upward. Geaux Tigers, and forget all the tigerbait that just decided to leave.

Most of McMahon's kids at Murray State are in the transfer portal.

Your principles are not the same as people from different ethnic and socioeconomic backgrounds, from a different generation as you, and with different talents, skills and goals as you.

Umm those kids committed to play for Will Wade which was evident from the jump. Not one of those kids minus O'Neal have any Louisiana ties so they never would have come here if not for Wade.

I mean look at Murray St, most of their team is in the portal and a few are coming here to follow their HC. Is CMM recruiting low character kids?

He brought this program back to fricking life and showed this retarded fanbase that we can actually win in this sport if we took it seriously.

"He ruined the program" of a university who can't even afford to fix a leaky fricking roof or can't even add a weight room to their Ops building.

shite on Wade as much as you want but don't be delusional in thinking he didn't do what had to be done to revive this garbage arse program. That is why he is well liked and damn near beloved here.

The program is no worse today than it was the day we lost in the SEC tournament after going 2-16

Nature of the sport. Nothing to do with competitiveness. Players leave programs all the time during coaching change, even more so when a program is in trouble.

The program was a dumpster fire before he arrived. 20 years of suck with a couple of random good teams thrown in.

Wade brought consistency. Wade brought fans back into the PMAC.

Lol Rouge you're smart enough to know no college athlete cares about some random university across the country they went to for one season or two before their coach was fired

They don't care about the school the same way someone who's lived in the state their whole life does.

Their coach is gone and chances are their postseason hopes are gone. They're going to go somewhere they can win.

Dude sold out like 5 or 6 games in year 1 of a total rebuild. It was crazy how he energized the fanbase

Will Wade ruined the program that went to 1 NCAA tournament in 8 years before he was hired!!!!

Now LSU might not go to the NCAA tournament again for a while. Well y'all should be used to that.

He ruined the program by the program turning back into what it's been on average for the last 30 years.

Makes sense.

The ultimate weak arse comment. You are not just like them, so you could never understand.

What I do know is that opportunity, that includes big bags and playing time, abounds at LSU. Even with those chances to succeed, they all decided to abandon ship from a top tier (lets say top 5 program in the conference over the last 7 years) SEC program.

IMO the Rudy and LSU Basketball reality are apples and oranges. with Rudy, his teammates supported his opportunity to dress for 1 game.

in our current reality, kids hitting the portal is more about them making decisions on what they think is best for them not necessarily in support of wade. as of right now, it's unknown what our sanctions will be (if any). wade certainly brought those on, but who is left will feel the repercussions of those sanctions.

I'm hoping McMahon can start building a foundation. we went through this already with Brown-Brady.

Actually Fudge’s family is from Lafayette (he may have even lived there at some point early one) and Wilkinson’s dad is from Baton Rouge.
