I mean it was...

We set up tvs in our student union so fans that couldn’t get in could watch. That was before the split between Private and Public so I mean we still played real teams

I think part of it is that this teams play is not conducive to hyping up a crowd. Inconsistent with sporadic scoring.

Are you in there?

It’s. A bunch of old arse guys sitting on both sides and the student section is stuffed into the corner wind most of their seats in the upper deck.

It’s literally the exact reason why Auburn moved their student section

Student Section back in 03 was behind the press area and gave it a different feel! The mive behimd the basket sucks..Plus basketball has a different fan base..they are much older and hated when we would stand or yell

It’s obviously toned down over the TV.....Just heard STTDB Chant blurred out over the TV....

Seems more hype in there than shows on TV

Its making me sick. All I see is a bunch of old fricks behind the announcers bench all clapping like it's a tennis game...

Is it like that on the other side behind players bench?? Where are the wild fans allowed at?

Old lady 2 rows in front of us in section 215 turned around and told us we needed to use our inside voices. That folks is what is wrong with the deaf dome. Ridiculous!

I am at home as well and I will join in with you bitching about the crowd too. Not loud enough. Not like the old days, too many people just stay home for basketball.

Yet you can’t even acknowledge it on this board because people keep excusing it for dumb reasons

-the game starts too early
-the game starts too late
-the game is on a weeknight/school night
-it’s early in the season wait until after football
-this team plays a boring style
-this opponent isn’t good
-it’s the students fault
-and then say wHy ArEnT yOu ThErE as if that has anything to do with

None of it is true. The basketball blue blood season ticket holders are just lame fans.

The PMAC has no environment anymore, it’s all a reactive crowd. There’s nothing proactively noisy or rowdy about it. I don’t know what the solution is because those people just have tickets and good seats so we’re just stuck...

Know I know you’ve never been to the PMAC?
