Worst thing about this kind of season tbh. Remember when LSU played BYU in front of a half empty stadium in the same Dome for $20 bucks a ticket back in 2017? We do. Lol now you have to refinance a home for lower levels in the same Stadium

Tell the bandwagoners to apply for a job at the stadium. They can see the game as an usher and get paid for it!!

My parents have had season tickets since I was 6 years old. I've maybe missed 5 or 6 games since 2000. 25 now and I've never been to a National Championship Game. I would do just about anything to be in that dome on January 13th. It's ashame that rich a-holes/bandwagon fans with money that haven't been to a game in years will be in there and not the die hard fans that go to almost every game.

If your parents have and season tickets for as long as you’re claiming and have been paying *some* tradition fund and a $100 donation to TAF, you’d have 2 tickets at face value from LSU.

Even some of us who are not bandwagoners are looking. I’ve had my season tickets for 5 years and still missed the cut.

23 years here and I didn’t make the cut

Ohio St out of this game has opened up airline fares and hotel rooms. Clemson has no where near the "travel" of OSU. Clemson and the close fan base of LSU has the game tickets and hotel rooms loosened up. I can still book Hilton rooms with points 8 days out. Unheard of in the past. But I have a ticket and looking forward to another Champ game in NOLA, that will be my third.

This what happens when you are the flavor of the month. Once in a lifetime opportunity for some of these LSU fans.

Except it's not once in a lifetime. It has happened 4 times in the last 15 years (for those Clemson fans reading this I'll do the math for you. That is an average of about once every 4 years). And that my friend may be easy to accomplish if you play in the ACC, but when you're in the SEC that is an impressive act.

You do know that there are some “...die hard fans that go to almost every game ...” who are well off but not a-holes, right?

And you do know that there are diehard fans who can't afford to go to a regular season game right? frick just because someone's broke doesn't mean they're bandwagoners

There are us that have watched 90% or more of LSU games in the last decade, suffering through the back half of the Miles years.

I watch 100% of the games and the back half was no where close to suffering. We were ranked #2 in Miles last full season.

It sucks a lot of people get priced out for these games, but I understand the demand for this ticket. Which is why I went to all the home games and the playoff game for less than a ticket to the title game. There were plenty of opportunities to see this amazing team play for dirt cheap.
