...killed our chances. Dude underthrew or overthrew Chark 3x which would have been TDs.

Sucks that we outgained them in Tuscaloosa and lost.

Let what go? An honest observation?

He's making a good point if this is the case.

Okay, we got fricked in 1979 against USC. Don’t like it but you have to let it go. Move forward.

Yeah, we missed a couple chances

I think we probably win in 2016 with Canada's offense

Thats why im excited to have Burrow. The guy’s best talent is accuracy. He won’t be missing wide open WRs

Yes, we had 0 shot with Etling, and this is precisely why I get aggravated when folks pump Etling. I'm not interested in the person; my interest lies in the quarterbacking skills. At LSU, his were mediocre at best. With Burrow, we will have ACCURACY. That is what we've been missing.

And some people are still convinced it was Canada's fault we lost that game. I don't understand how the OC gets the blame when they plays are there but your QB lacks the talent to make them consistently.

Um are you telling me the Patriots would take a mediocre player in the 7th round?

That’s where they draft franchise players

TOM BRAAAAADY WAS A 6TH ROUNDER

He’s not dwelling on the past, bro. He’s saying if we make the plays we’re supposed to make, the Bama game, and likely one or two others would have turned out differently. In essence, it’s a very fine line between being really fricking good and losing four games. JB could be a guy that helps us cross that line. I mean, he’s gotta be better than Danny, right?

Was even much worse in 16. Had guys open and couldn't ever hit them. At least in 17 he did complete some.

There is no way Benji Thibadeaux face masked that USC qb in '79!

I was at that game. It looked much worse in person. The entire sideline was deflated at those missed opportunities.

Yeah Etling was a descent QB but never had the "IT" factor. The only way you beating Bama is with a QB that has "IT".
You can when many games with a Game manager at QB but not bama. Looks like burrow has the chance to be that guy just hoping the OL allows him to

Fun fact - in 30% of his starts at LSU, he had less than 150 yards passing. Good times
