Also, Catholic High is very well-paid to put up with douchery. Public schools are not.

This is my question. Lowery is garbage, but you can't just say the other 3 people are "friends" of his. Who the hell knows.

I don't think they were friend's but their attorney said they (all 4?, 3 of them?) went to the bar to pick up a friend.

My favorite part of the report....

Glad to see the Advocate is using the term "accused." You'd hate for it to read something like LSU players beat up US Marine.

Yes, that was a quote from a reporter. No official statement has been made regarding who he is representing or any of that. I hope once the investigation concludes (whatever the result) that we get to find out all the facts.

Yes, my assumption (to make sense of it) was that the crowd either joined in to assist the core assailants or were just crowded around watching the fight and yelling.

Maybe you should pay attention. There have never been any statements about a Shady's employee describing a stalking incident occurring and him being kicked out. So I suppose you are saying the police decided not to talk to anyone that worked there at all right? They figured why bother. :rotflmao

they interviewed the shadys emplyees yesterday.

Assuming they were doing there job, inside the bar, how could they give details of what happened outside?

When will they release those reports...I think that will help resolve a lot of the negative PR

Considering that before today, the only thing the media has reported is a summary of the original incident report (which they tried to passed off as legit journalism), it's not shocking that accounts from other witnesses have failed to surface.

Lowery finished high school as well. He was asked to leave a school with incredibly strict standards. People get kicked out of Catholic High for underage drinking and marijauna all the time.

Principal: "Mr. Lowery, are you drinking alcohol?"

Lowery: "Maybe, you buyin?"

Principal: "Mr. Lowery, it that a marijuana cigarette that you are smoking?"

Lowery: "I ain't sharing, it that's what you're askin"

Principal: "Mr. Lowery, I'm going to have to ask you to leave this school due to our incredibly strict standards. However, I am certain you will never run into trouble again, as you will surely have learned a valuable lesson."

Sounds like this dude deserved to get his arse kicked.

What these girls need to do is start pressing charges against him which will send him into a frenzy. He will have to be defending himself at the same time of trying to press charges against the athletes

Well then Woodlawn is more strict than Catholic because CHS will rarely kick someone out for their first alcohol or marijauna offense. You go on probation and have a short lease and are subject to drug test/breathalizer. So either Woodlawn has a stricter policy than Catholic High or you are just making stuff up.

its not woodlawn in particular, its the public school system. ZERO TOLERANCE

now the student can go to an alternative school and possibly another school in the district thereafter but they're done at the original institution

Woodlawn's rule only applies to incidents on campus. Catholic's applies to incidents both on and off campus.
