Joe Burrow, aka Jugular Joe, aka Big Dick Joe.

Georgia
Oklahoma
Clemson

18 total TDs, 16 passing TDs, 0 Ints

1,305 passing yards (435 avg)
120 rushing yards (40 avg)
1,425 total yards (475 avg)

And the craziest stat of all, a QBR (ESPN) rating of 97.8 over that 3 game span.

No, no, no.

The greatest 3 game post season stretch will always belong to Jordan Jefferson.

Penn State, Texas A&M, and Alabama

34-60 passing 56.6%
137.6 passing yds/game
4 passing TDs to just 3 interceptions
31 yards rushing/game

Layoff on Jordan Jefferson. That family has given its all to LSU.

Our wounds have been cleansed

Move on

That facet of LSU football history has been erased from the history books. Jugular Joe torched it and scattered the ashes to the wind.

I’d bet my left hand that no one ever scores more than 14 TD’s in one CFP (the current format).

He doubled the previous playoff high.

That’s just silly

Crazy thing is, you can do those stats for the entire 15 games of the season, and there’s still no drop off. Simply incredible.

Gotta mention that they were ranked #4, #4 and #3.

If you throw in Alabama who was #3 at the time we played them, I bet we are the only team in the history of college football to play TWO #3 and TWO #4 teams in the same season.

They put everyone at us and we beat everyone. Wish we could have played Ohio State too just to shut them up.

I'd also like to add the one that I heard (didn't confirm) that between the SEC Title Game and the 1st Playoff game (both in Atlanta) that Joe Burrow had more TDs than Matt Ryan had in the same building for the Falcons all season.

I'm pretty sure Ohio State felt like they Dodge a bullet on that one.

I'd reference the bowl game or CFP games as "post season".

Thus the thread title.
