1/9 being the most important for obvious reasons, but this is a close second.

We've lost 4 straight... It looked as though the program was on the decline.

But here we are with a shot at a conference and national title. Our best player is a big game away from a heisman. Our coach can get the monkey off his back.

Are we in agreement?

3rd.

The first game in 2011 - TGOTC - was more important.

If we win, this moves up.

We're often prisoners of the moment, but it's right up there. I'd argue that at the time 9-6 was more important than this one, since when the ball was kicked off it appeared that only the winner would survive and have a crack at the title. There were only two spots then and no one saw Iowa state pulling off that upset

I'm not sure what you're referring to. That game never happened.

that was the first game that Alabama won that year because they had the most FG attempts....

History on this season hasn't been written yet, so it's hard to say.

I don't like even thinking in those terms.

it's the most important game cause it's the next one on our schedule.

we need to play good football, that's all. Do what we need to do to secure the victory.

AFTERWARDS, this win still won't mean anything if we don't win out. won't look so big.

the next game then will be the most important.

Geaux Tigers!

2012 was pretty important as well. If TJ does not score on that screen pass and we win, we end up in Atlanta and most likely the NCG once again.

bullshite.

The GOTC was the most important Bama game in history. LSU beat Bama in their house for the chance to win the SEC West, SEC, and MNC.

Sorry, but if I prep or practice any more for the upcoming game, I might violate NCAA rules.

2000 was pretty important too, considering it was the first time we beat them at home in about 100 years.

as it turned out, that game wasn't really important at all because, for one of the teams, the outcome was insignificant

The problem I have with this name is how unfortunately false it is now.

This game should truly be called "The Exhibition of the Century" or whatever, because ESPN acted like Bama never lost. It was truly astonishing how little significance this highly touted game actually had.

I think Bama was really good, and might have been the number 1 or 2 team, but it was truly criminal what they did to Okie State and LSU. They basically spat on their entire seasons.

We were never on the decline. Losing an entire defense early ended up being just a minor setback. Nothing stops Miles from putting a top team on the field. But 4 in a row has to be stopped, next Saturday it will.

Would LSU have gotten in the BCS game if they had lost 9-6?
