Just admit that you are this desperate to be in the discussion for Top 5 worst poster of all time.

so you're only basing how good we were on how we played in our worst game of the season? seems fair

You do realize that before the NCG that same 2011 team that you don't have in your top 5 all time was pegged as the best team in college football history right?

If not for having to play what ended up being the best team in college football on that day which backdoored themselves into the game just like they did again this year without winning their division let alone their conference, we could have went down as the best team ever.

So please stop! Les Miles lost that game, not that team. His shitty arse game plan and being so fricking stubborn lost us that game! Refusing to pull Jefferson out that game and at least giving Lee a shot was dumb! Hell Mett should have gotten a shot!

Oh and, 10 FG's and one throw away TD in 2 games against Alabama. Let that stat sink in.

Applying this same logic to our 2017 season makes Troy and MSU fireable offenses.

The team that came within an inch on a FG attempt in Ames from being considered one of the greatest teams of all-time wasn’t “great?”

Okay.

It must suck to wake up on a friday and be so miserable you feel the need to say how one of the best teams in LSU history sucked.

Les miles is gone, dude. Get over it.

I mean bro, you think these Bama players/coaches had the same level of focus/intensity/preparation for Southern fricking Georgia that they did with a month to prepare for LSU? Do you think starters played the majority of the second half against these teams? GTFO

Dude, you are making up excuses for why Southern Georgia, Kent State, North Texas, and a 2-10 Ole Miss team did better offensively vs Bama than LSU did.

Let that sink in.

Dude you are saying that an LSU team that went 13-0 beating the shite out of just about everyone including 2 other conference champions before losing in the national championship game wasn't great because some other teams put up better stats in losing to a team we beat.

Let that sink in.

That game is on Les Miles, not necessarily the team. They had minor success in the "game of the century" so Les thought it would work in the championship game. When it didn't work, it was obvious they didn't have a back up plan. I think there's a quote from former player that said Les only wanted to work on running option in preparation for that game.

2011 was a great team... but most on here may still have a bad taste in their mouths after the way Miles was totally out coached on 1-9-12.

It was a truly great team----honeybadger, Reid, claiborne, brockers, Montgomery, on and on and on, but with one glaring exception...we did not really have a quarterback and in the end that is what cost us..gospel truth

Ok, I did but 21-0, can’t cross midfield in the national championship game keeps popping into my memory.

I get it. But discrediting the things that team DID accomplish before then is just retarded. It was a practically unprecedented run and that team was objectively bad fricking arse. Sucks that we had to play another incredible team with a legendary coach twice.

Cool man. But trying to discredit what that team did up until then makes you look like a fricking idiot. Especially when your basis is what other opponents did against a team we beat.

The biggest game was 9-6. LSU got ripped off and everyone knows it.
