I think we all know that last year wasn’t great in the locker room. It’s been said by many within the organization, not sure why TJ had to speak on it anymore.

Yet Max was able to have success while he wasn’t. So instead of taking responsibility he has to find something else to blame.

Oh he is going to Bama. Didn’t you see the rest of his comments ? It would be glorious to see that kid and his overinflated self worth ( it’s really his parents that caused this) starting for Bama. Please football gods let this happen.

I mean there’s no reason to dislike him: he’s just not good enough and he realized it.

It’s hard to imagine our prior offensive staff doing him any favors.

The only Alabama he has a chance of ever starting for is South Alabama

Lost all respect for him and his family when his mom said he wasn’t getting a fair opportunity

TJ was signed based on his arm and potential to hopefully develop... nothing more. His HS tape showed he was a major project with very raw talent. He needs a QB guru like Jimbo or Mullen to work with him for a couple years and then maybe he can progress to the level he wants to.

How triggered would you have been if he actually "spilled the beans"?

Which makes it odd that he got the early starts.

Agreed. Makes you wonder if he looks awesome with the red jersey on in practice but makes poor decisions in game situations. They threw him in earlier than they probably wanted to when Brennan went down.

To me that’s a kid saying that the public doesn’t know everything that went into his decision to transfer but he’s not gonna get into specifics.

For all you know the “stuff” that went on behind closed doors was the coaches giving more attention to the 2 front runners. To me and you that seems like a normal thing but to an 18 year old kid, that’s hurtful and could feel like a betrayal.

Look the kid coulda smeared the names of plenty of coaches and teammates if he wanted to but he refrained from doing so.

That article was fairly long and his only “negative” comment was vaguely mentioning that everything didn’t go the way he liked. He gave out much more detailed praise and positive comments in the article than he did negative.

Life's tough. Had LSU treated Finley with fairness and equality, those comments would not have come out.

If you don't want a former player "throwing shade," don't do shady things.

Wish him well but he is not good enough to beat out some of the other QB! Max is the man!

You are absolutely correct. He wasn’t as good as the other guys in the room. Sucks for him but I don’t feel like we need to kick him while he’s down nor do I feel like his comment was damaging to LSU.

I am not going to blame TJ for some retarded statement his mom made.

The Louisiana native doesn’t want to spend the next couple of years sitting on the bench at LSU. That’s understandable because Finley is way too talented to not be starting somewhere in the SEC.

not sure if serious...
