If you are an up and coming or established successful coach, are you going to want to coach somewhere that even if you win a national championship you don’t get an extension and a raise? No. As much as it sucks, that’s the business if you want to attract top coaches.

He’s already made great hires for Baseball and WBB, no reason to expect different here.

That clause is in most coachs contracts. You win natty, you get paid as much as those that did

No, I can’t thank him if he pays out full Buyout. Wasn’t O coach when player beats up another LSU girl athlete. Didn’t BOS protect LSU football and let this continue, girls getting abused by football players because player was under Burnhert’s tutelage. Verge knew, too, and the program corruptly buried sexual abuse and did not follow Title IX. LSU football is corrupt, just like the Treasury Department (ex-Goldman Sachs partners) covered Wall Street Banks in 2009.
