For putting together some of the most exciting defenses I've ever seen and for your comittment to excellence as an LSU tiger.

Generating absolutely no pass rush and watching his undersized LBers get shoved around wasn't exactly exciting IMO.

I agree. He has made LSU's defense the best in the nation for many years. I just think Yesterday he showed a lack of character on his part. He knew he was going to A&M the whole time, and trashed the game. You are supposed to continue with your current employer until your last day, not quit bc you're leaving anyways

Had he left with class sure. But the way he went out was as ruthless as he could. Seems no player he coached was aware of the situation because their response seems to speak for him running. A coach is supposed to be a leader and he could not even keep the kids that looked up to him in the know. From the responses they seem fairly bitter at how he left. So why thank him, he is tiger bait. Let these bitter kids take it to A&M from here on out!

In a world full of social media, I'm sure the players heard the rumblings...either way, it's time to move on. We have lost several games with poor offensive output, but our late game defense has folded many time as well.
