Went to Sugar Bowl last night, which turned out to be a better game than I expected. Bottom line, Georgia didn't want to be there and Texas had everything to gain by winning. After being there and seeing how excited they are about the 2019 season, I cant wait to be in Austin on September 7

I just hate that this helps Texas recruit. We need to beat Texas like a drum. GA didn't want to be there any more than the man on the moon.

The classic SEC excuse. Win bowls shows the SEC is the bestest ever, lose bowls, eh they didn’t want to be there lol

That is going to be a big and TOUGH game. They return a lot on both sides of the ball, to include their QB. Glad they are game #2 so we get rolling in game #1.

Not worried about Texas. They should have been a 5-6 loss team this year and LSU will have more talent in just about every position

we have a huge advantage in QB and RB and it will show. We will beat them by 14+

I believe TX is losing their entire DL, stud OLB, both CB and 3 OL. If our guys return, we should get a really nice win.

Never implied it was a home game. It is game #2 on our schedule next season which works to our adv IMO.

Texas is losing 3/5 OL, TE and RB and 8 senior starters on defense. Assuming no one jumps to the draft

I'll give Texas credit. They played tough and whoop up on Georgia. But Georgia also shot themselves in the foot several times, had 2 TOs deep inside their territory and didn't have their 2 best defenders.

Texas defense shut down Georgia running game, and that was damn impressive.

This makes next year's LSU vs Texas game huge now.

This 'didn't want to be there' BS is dumb. If you are an athlete and there is a good team on the other side of the ball, if you can't get yourself up for the contest, you're not much of an athlete.

Ga got beat by a better team, the Tigers will have to play their best game in Austin to get a win.

Texas has several senior OL and almost all of their DL and LB are seniors. WR Lil'Jordan Humphrey is a junior that may leave for NFL. Texas had a good year but has a lot to replace. They had a good recruiting class last year but very poor at the line of scrimmage. LSU should do well against them at the LOS

GREAT if that is the case, but I did not hear the announcers say that last evening during the SB. More talk about the team they will have in 2019 with their returning QB and others. Just sayin.

I disagree (GA talent > TX talent)

I live here in Austin and keep up with Texas football pretty close. Sept 7th will be a great game and environment.
