Most of it is on Mathis. Pitchers at every level are going to let runners take too big of leads. I’m ok with blaming a couple on the pitcher but at this point Mathis just can’t throw anyone out.
Which sucks because I really like him behind the plate and at the plate

George has good stuff, but man sometimes he just can't find the plate. His breaking ball can be nasty though.

I agree. I was wondering if it was still up for debate whether they would plug Garza right in. Mathis is a beast blocking balls and is heating up at the dish but we absolutely cannot keep letting teams steal at will

I agree but 29/30 (really 30/30 because everyone knows that Texas baserunner was safe) can’t be blamed on the pitchers. At some point you’ve got to throw the guy out.
