Texas. Most of the Horns fans I know are decent folk. Have some decent Bammer friends too, so that is a push.
What tips the scales is the ubiquity of Bandwagon Bammers that know fuquall about college football saying "Roe Tahhd" while they're decked out in Wal-Mart bought polyester Brodie Croyle jerseys.

Gotta pull for Bama. SEC all the way. Helps recruiting. Some will say it hurts b/c it will help Bama recruiting. I am not that worried about Bama recruiting. I would rather have the edge over Texas recruiting. Also, SEC will continute to get the benefit of the doubt if it keeps winning championships.

Bama. Hate to do it, but what benefits the conference benefits LSU. Also, it could help get little Nicky out the door sooner if he feels he has conquered the mountain at Bammer.
Plus, Austin Wood pissed me off in Omaha last year. I know that has absolutely nothing to do with football, but frick Tejas anyway.
Also, it would add even more to the hype for the LSU - Bama game in TS next year and would make it a lock for ESPN Gameday.

Have a few longhorn fans that are tolerable. No way in hell am I pulling for bama (or Florida for that matter). This "pulling for the SEC" is silly imo.

Damn it Mack Brown...if you would have taken responsibility for bad judgement at the end of the Nebraska game I would have pulled for you...but not taking reponsibility for it makes you more of a prick than Nick Saban

ok your chances of pulling studs out of texas have nothing to do with them loosing this game. you pull studs from texas because you have a good program . and the 1-2 guys a year we loose you LSU isnt going to kill our program. OK has been pulling a hell of a lot more than that for 30years and we survived . :beatdeadhorse:

i can find reasons to pull for either one. In the end, i just don't care. Doenst really effect the way lsu performs. That is where my concern is. And i really cannot see how it can get any worse.

I was kinda pulling for Texas before and now I'm sorta meh either way

1) I have several very good friends who are Auburn fans, and would kill me if i rooted for Bama - point, UT
2) My girlfriend's dad went to UT undergrad - point UT
3) My roommate went to UT, and single handedly makes me want them to crash and burn in every game they play. He constantly talks sh** about LSU and tells me to be objective, then throws fits when I suggest during Texas games that the refs made the right call (when it went against Texas) - 2 points Bama.
4) Other considerations: Bama fans I know will think they are national champions of the decade if they win, UT will have 2 NC's and will be the only non-sec school that does. - PUSH

I'm a huge SEC fan and before i signed on to this site i cheered for Bama if they weren't playing LSU. I lived in Decatur,AL for 3 years. Once i got on this site i found out how some of the older Bama fans act and its totally sickening. They think its their place to be atop the sec. They've only won the SEC 3 times since 1981 and everytime they won it they immediately went on probation. Also someone on here posted a link to a magazine article from the 30's and it was talking about Bama cheating since before the turn of the century. Its one thing to love your football program but to go to the extreme of cheating since the start of the program is bad. Its also the fact that bama fans are the only program to retroactivily claim national titles. They should have more pride. They are cheaters and the worst athletic dept. In the sec. For god's sake a booster was about to blow the whistle on the program for cheating for the last 4 decades and he ends up dead. Wow what a coincidence

It doesn't matter if you pull against bama you will not get your satisfaction. Texas has no chance to beat bama. This will be the biggest cakewalk in bcs history or any NC game. You didn't get the memo from nick?
