I think it's 70-30 LSU in game one with LC vs whoever UT throws. Then it's 50-50 with Austin Wood vs Ranaudo in game 2. Then it's 50-50 with Austin Ross vs whoever Texas throws in game 3.

So LSU wins comfortably in game one, then a Toss-up in game 2 IF UT starts Wood. If UT makes it to game 3 against Ross, another toss-up. It's gonna be a good series.

I think Tiger fans should quit beating up on people for expressing what I believe is truth that it will be a tough battle against Texas. He's not saying "Texas is gonna beat us!" He is saying, "I hope we bring our A game because these guys are tough!" Quit hating on fellow fans! I say the tigers win in 2 but anyone saying it will look like todays game against arkansas doesn't know baseball! So let's pull together and pull our Tigers through to finish out what will have been a memorable season no matter what!!! Let's make it 6 for 6 in NC games :)

They are not that good
Their record and spot in the national championship series says otherwise. I tend to believe facts over opinions.

LSU won't do that though imo. They'll throw Coleman, Ross, Ranaudo. Just throw off the 2nd game and have a big advantage in game 3.

If LSU throws off game 2, then maybe UT saves Wood for game 3? Or maybe they don't start him at all. I think they have to start him against one of LSU's 2 aces, or have no shot.

As an Arkansas Razorback fan I sincerely say, "Congratulations to LSU!" Arkansas was on a serious hot streak of dispatching Oklahoma, Florida State, and Cal State Fullerton. LSU, IMHO, never waivered. To say that LSU is anything but the best team in the CWS would be borderline crazy. Texas is a good team, but LSU is better. So with that, Go LSU! Go SEC!

If LSU is up 1-0 after game 1, UTexas is going to have to throw their remaining big gun to keep the series going.

i foresee a similar result from OU-FLA in football

sec > big 12... just get used to it =D

in all seriousness tho, texas is indeed the real deal. will be a good matchup! FLA only beat OU 21-14.. but a win is a win.

1-0 1-0 LSU wins series 2-0 is fine with me

Texas and LSU both have good teams, Texas has an edge in the coaching dept, a large edge, we have have more guys who can put it out of the park than they do, and I believe that our pitching is better than most of ASU's pitching staff with one exception, the AUSSIE

I read it many times on this board, anything can happen in baseball, true, LSU is magical, talented, confident, well coached, more determined than any team ive seen, they make this sport look easy, Blake Dean is calm under all circumstances, he is a true leader. DJ is probably the best fielder ive seen out there, Ryan is downright scarey at the plate, Mitchell is an intimadating figure, and can back it up, Matook gets awesome jumps in center which put him in position to make incredible plays, Gibbs has been Money at, and behind the plate, I dont worry about shortstop, its handled, Derrick and tyler have the hot corner nailed down, Coleman and Ranaudo?, their actions say enough. We clearly outclass this field, i said this before regionals, we win the National Championship, Book it

Texas is for real. They are REALLY arrogant. The only players I saw in the whole CWS arguing with the umpires were TX players. Pricks and no class!

After Texas win this whole thing, I can't wait to see the bitter, confused, desperate posts that will populate this board.

Remember last year, LSU had all the luck the last half of the season and then in their final game against UNC our luck ran our. I think it takes a great team to win a championship and LSU is a great team while Texas is just good with luck. GEAUX TIGERS WHIP THE LONGHORNS!

I expect a great series between LSU and Texas. Anyone who thinks LSU can't be beat, well this is the rant, and this is the perfect place for you. I don't think LSU will loose the series, butto say Texas simply can't do it is insane. They are where they are cause they are a tough team. Small ball works for them, I think we just play our game and it all works out in the end for us.

Upsets happen all the time, but we are clearly the better team. It's not even close.

Wow, ur stupid, what is the purpose of the above Post? You have a decent team, a great coach, (grumpy ole mfer), and you had to show your arse here before any pitch has been thrown, now, what do you base your prediction on?, How will u win? will you simply bunt Coleman out of the game?, dominate us with pitching?, back up your predictiction, otherwise you come off as stupid
