Add the Regional and the Super and it's much worse.

ASU and USM have a lot of very young inexperienced players and exceeded expectations by just getting to Omaha. Texas had way more talent than thye do. We are loaded with talent and experience

Seems like our Freshman closer gave up a 3 run homer in the 9th today. I don't expect to have a 12 run lead against UT. Tigers will win, but it will be a battle.

At some point these comebacks are no longer luck. They refuse to lose and the deficits they have overcome along the way (regional, super, CWS) proves their resolve and skill.

At some point when they continue to look like shite with lots of fielding errors and getting their asses handed to them most of the game against teams like USM and yet still winning, you do have to question how good the team really is and what other factors.

For one, I find it hard to believe a game can go 25 innings and each inning is still around 3 pitches per batter for a strikeout, no matter how long the pitchers were in. I question the size of the strikezone in such a game.

And then to see their wins against USM and tonight, the umps are, rather unintentionally or not (I have my suspicions), saving Texas' arse by completely ignoring the strike zone. Two pitches against the tying HR hitting batter were strikes all game, including the top of the 9th, but suddenly ceased to be. Were the pitches too SLOW for the ump to read it? bullshite. It was favorable call after favorable call and the only called strike I saw was right down the middle waist high.

If the ASU pitcher didn't throw the ones that got pelted, we would have had another walk off walk or Texas would have swung at bad pitches until they lost.

Well if you've been watching all season, this was the first time he's come in with that comfortable of a lead. VERY unusual for a closer, he's used to the pressure and was simply throwing strikes.

The only BIG hit Ott has given up this year was against ULL. Very early in the season.

So it's a near consensus that LSU will win both games 12-1?

Texas is a big pile of faggotry. That lame scratch out a couple of runs small crap ain't gonna cut it against LSU.

Any of you who are scared of Texas are wussies. They are not that good and LSU will pound them.

As I said in the game thread, I have no fear of Texas. I have fear of it coming to the bottom of the 9th and the strike zone yet again suddenly becomes impossible. It's bullshite that it's happened twice and only happened for Texas in this CWS (did not see their Regional and Super Regional games, but I would not be surprised). It's also a pain in the arse to know that this shite can happen and absolutely no one with a voice that can be heard will say something about it.

It wasn't so much UVA's lefty as it was LSU's inability to hit a quality lefty to that point. I am thoroughly impressed by the LSU offense. They flipped a switch.
