Hey Garrett, do you know our QB? Is he good?
Not…. Garrett are you looking forward to the chance of playing in Norman?
They asked Harold Perkins about an OU LB. How much does he watch him and what things he sees in the OU LB that he tries to take and use in his own game. Perkins just said "I don't know who that is."

It’s comical…….. ask him about the 4 or 5 starting LBs from lsu in the NFL. DO SOME WORK ON THESE PLAYERS!! He’s from Texas there’s plenty to work with.

someone definitely needs to tell the OU reporter to stop asking every player and coach about the Sooners
No one cares
Ask about the team on the podium dumbass

Why do people believe this narrative? Yall need to understand that OU is a powerhouse program who’s been very relevant for a long time. They always adapt and find a way to be in the mix. They won 10 games last year and that was a down year for them. This idea that OU is gonna get dominated in the SEC is laughable. They’re gonna push a bunch of teams down a tier and have a seat right at the table with LSU, Bama, Texas and Georgia. Just watch.
Maybe from watching them the past 15-20 years play in a soft Big12 with basically one top tier opponent who was in a long funk themselves (Texas) and routinely losing 1-2 games every season against much less talented opponents and then routinely getting smoked in the playoffs?

I thought that after he asked the question. I really wish BK would have just said, "I dont care about Texas. Im here to talk about LSU"

OU doesn’t play Mississippi State. Yall are just throwing shite at the wall at this point. Middle tier to bottom tier programs like ole Miss and a&m hate this expansion because they know what it means for them.

OU hasn’t won a national championship in almost 25 years. In that time the SEC has won 14 titles. There are 4 SEC teams with multiple titles since the last time OU won a natty. And all 4 of them have lost to Mississippi State at some point during that time period. They also all lost to (pre-Kiffin) Ole Miss. It’s actually pretty impressive when you consider how infrequently UGA and UF play those schools. I didn’t check Auburn or Missouri but I imagine it’s a similar story.
Nobody is saying Mississippi State is going to dominate OU, nor is anyone saying that Mississippi State should be happy about the expansion. The point is that OU is going from a conference where there are maybe 2-3 tough games most years to a conference where even the bottom feeders (sans Vanderbilt) rarely go down without a fight.

Do you know that they play Tennessee and the go to Auburn? Auburn for SEC teams is always tricky. Then after a bye they play Texas, South Carolina and then on the road vs Ole Miss, FCS game and on the road again vs Mizzou. They will be lucky if they only have 2 losses by then. I think they are already at 7-3 at this point. Next they come back off a bye and have Bama then LSU on the road. Im telling you right now, i think they go 8-4. I think they can beat Bama because they do have a defense, and Bama's secondary will be medicore, but i think LSU sitting at 9-2 at home at night needing a win to keep their playoff hopes alive in the final game of the season, will do them in.

They have been the big dogs in crappy conferences forever and they don't know how to handle not being the biggest fish in the pond.
They are swimming with sharks now and not bream

Give me a break dude. OU is gonna beat the brakes off of South Carolina, Vandy, Mizzou and maybe even Tennessee.
What are you even talking about? They aren’t bums they are a top 5 program all time. This isn’t Arkansas or A&M we’re talking about dude. OU is closer to Bama than any current SEC member.

Bingo! Now you see how entitled they are. You thought Alabama was bad.

The dude from OU was asking about their(sooner) LB, and how his game(Perkins) play compared to his. He was insinuating that Perk may have watched said OU LB to add to his play. Perkins said “Repeat the question” he did and Perk replied “I got to be honest I dont know who you’re talking about really, no disrespect but I just worry about my game”
These guys from Tx & OU actually believe that the SEC players sit around worrying & watching the B12 to get ready for em. Sark knows and has been building his team for battle, I think OU is in for a shock.

You are basing what the OU coaches and their players are doing from a dumbass OU reporter’s questions?
That’s an interesting theory.
You also think Texas is better prepared than OU? That’s also an interesting take. Texas might have a better overall SEC record this season than OU even after losing to OU. Which just goes with the difference in schedules given to them the first year in the league.

Do you live under a rock?
Texas is in a MUCH better position to come in and compete with the top of the SEC and I honestly wouldn't be completely shocked if they won it year 1. I don't think they will win it but its not out of the question.
OU currently is more along the lines of the middle of the conference with LSU, Ole Miss, Tenn, A&M, and currently MIzzou. They are a step above Kentucky, MSU, Arkansas, Auburn and Florida and way above Vandy and USC but they are definitely below UGA, Bama, Texas.
OU, like LSU, A&M, and Tenn, has the program power to get into that top tier but currently they are sitting in the second tier at best. I'm not gonna act like OU will never win the SEC but I would be STUNNED if they won it year 1.

I disagree. I think OU is on par with LSU but not on par with A&M and Tennessee. OU and LSU are playoff fringe teams and that final game might decide who gets in. That’s why they scheduled OU as LSU’s final game.
Don’t get me started on Ole Miss. they’re frauds and will get exposed by mid October. Kiffin is a good coach for Ole Miss. not a good coach to take the CFB world by storm. Mind you Kiffin led them to two 10 win regular seasons. For the first time in ole Miss history. This is uncharted territory for them. They aren’t gonna break through and make history.

WTF do you think Tenn and A&M have done to warrant them being viewed as above LSU and OU?
Your view of programs is strange and seemingly based on some fiction you created in your head.

I am. There is no stadium or environment that concerns me. We've been winning in the best of them for a hundred years.

Nope... that was scheduled because LSU, OU, Mizzou, Arky don't have a 2nd in state rival to schedule that weekend... Arky & Mizzou started a neighborhood rivalry already so that left LSU and OU..

Yes and you said they were equal to LSU but not the other 2. I read it as the other 2 are better than both.
